The Lost Female Alpha

Diana was the daughter of two powerful alphas but one day when she was very young her parents were betrayed and killed by their own pack. She is a strong warrior and she has a bright future ahead of her but when she turns eighteen her life is turned upside down when she meets her mate, Elijah, her new alpha. Elijah has been looking for his mate for years, he doesn't care about the rumours about her past. He just wants her to accept him but accepting him would go against every instinct Diana has. Chapter: Epilogue - Diana
Sometimes I look at the way my life turned out and it is hard to believe that it is real. It has been over nine years since I accepted Elijah as my mate and in that time he has given me more love and happiness than I ever dreamed possible. We decided not to start our own family right away, instead taking a few years to focus on each other. But now that we had started having children we couldn’t seem to stop. Over the last four years we have added two sons and one daughter to our growing family. Elijah was an amazing father. He loved spending time with the children, so much so that our parents were constantly complaining that they didn’t get to see their grandchildren often enough. Today would be an exception to that rule, because today was our oldest son’s fourth birthday party and we were going to need all the help we could get. Elijah had dropped the kids off with his parents early this morning then joined me to prepare the venue for the party. I had also managed to rope in a f

Chapter: Part 2 Chapter 17 - Elijah
The last four days have been amazing but also incredibly tiring. Diana craved sex almost constantly, only resting for a couple of hours at a time before waking me up so I could take her again. That cycle continued until late last night when her heat finally broke and we were both able to get some rest. That rest was a lot shorter than either of us would have liked. Diana’s mom knocked on our door shortly after dawn the following morning. She told us that we needed to get washed and dressed so we could get back to our pack for the celebration they were throwing in our honour. I wasn’t too happy with the idea of a party in our honour while Diana was so exhausted, but cancelling it would have been an unpopular move. I couldn’t even be unhappy at Mark for organising it, he was only trying to do his best to raise the morale within our pack after what had been a difficult couple of weeks. He knew as much as I did that the best way of doing that was spending time together as a pack, Dian

Chapter: Part 2 Chapter 16 - Diana
My skin felt as though it was on fire and the only Elijah’s touch made it feel a little better. It made me want to rip all my clothes off and beg him to take me. I didn’t even care that we were in the middle of a staircase where anyone could walk past and see us. I let out a frustrated whine. “We are nearly here honey, just hold on a few seconds longer.” Elijah sounded as though he was struggling just as much as I was. He practically dragged me up the remaining stairs and into the bedroom we had shared together for the last few days. He didn’t wait for me to undress, as soon as the door was closed behind us he shredded my clothes with his claws and pushed me against the door. By the time my back made contact with the wooden door he was already kissing my neck. He held me in place with one hand while using his other hand to shred his own clothes and throw them to the floor. Now that we were both naked he let go of me and took a moment to admire my body. “Beautiful.”“Are you going t

Chapter: Part 2 Chapter 15 - Elijah
Diana had prepared for some kind of epic battle but things didn’t really work out that way. With Arthur’s powers neutralised most of the people in the pack gave up without a fight. They seemed to be disorientated more than anything else so Mark and the others gathered them all in more of the larger reception rooms so we could address them. I needed to explain to them what had happened to them. It was disorientating when you woke up after being controlled by someone but I had only ever been controlled for a few minutes. There was no way of knowing how long these people have been controlled for, it could have been weeks, years or even decades. There is one thing I knew for certain though, they were going to need help to integrate back into society. I was planning to offer them a place in our pack, at least until they had pieced enough of their life back together enough to know what they wanted to do. “What happened to Arthur?” Mark asked once everyone was assembled. “I bound his wri

Chapter: Part 2 Chapter 14 - Diana
I tried not to react as confusion washed over Arthur’s face even though internally I was squealing with excitement. Our plan was actually working and this whole ordeal was close to being over, I could barely believe it. We had hoped that putting silver in the water would be enough to weaken Arthur’s control but I never really believed that the result would be so profound. When he walked out of the room I was sure that I could sense his panic, but I didn’t have time to gloat over it. I closed my eyes and drew upon my powers to check on the progress of our forces. They were about an hour from the border of Arthur’s territory but those were only the forces that I could reach. As long as there had been nothing to change the plans in our absence, there would be a force of vampires arriving in just a few minutes' time. I was getting ready to open a mindlink to Mark when Elijah pulled me out of my seat and started dragging me towards the door. “Wait a moment, what are you doing?” I asked.

Chapter: Part 2 Chapter 13 - Elijah
My wolf is growling and trying desperately to push his way to the front of my mind. He knows that as much as this might look like a civilised breakfast, it is more akin to dining with the devil himself. At any moment he could suddenly turn on us and with his powers, there would be very little I could do to save those around me. I was particularly worried about the young girl. She didn’t look much older than four or five but, even so, I couldn’t sense any trace of a wolf in her. She was completely out of place here and so much more vulnrable than any of the rest of us. Yet she seemed to be unaware of the threat which Arthur posed as she used her pieces of apple to build a house-shaped structure on her plate. Arthur coughed to grab my attention.“I guess you are probably wondering who she is. She is my daughter and her name is Cora.” The smile he gave me as he spoke was the first genuine smile I had seen from him. As Arthur didn’t have a mate that could only mean one of two things, t

Chapter: Short Epilogue
Elizabeth Summers’ POVWe had only been at our new pack for a few days but it was already clear that it was going to take a lot of work to get this town back to its former glory. The town had been abandoned over ten years ago and a lot of the buildings were well on their way to falling down. I didn’t care about that though, this place already felt more like home than my old pack ever had. There was nobody telling me that my omega parents made me inferior to other werewolves. Everyone here respected each other and worked together. I would take that over the alternative any day. There was no denying that it was hard work though. There was so much physical work required to get the buildings fixed and then there was everything else that needed to be done. Our pack members needed to find paid employment and I had to spend countless hours forming alliances with the surrounding packs. It was exhausting. “What are you doing in here, baby?” Jasper asked. “I’m making you dinner.” He had bee

Chapter: Chapter 53
Jasper HartfordI had been suspicious of the black vehicle following us ever since I first noticed it, shortly after leaving the forest. It looked like one of the cars my father would give to people who worked for him so I was sure it would be one of the pack’s warriors. That was until it continued to follow us for the next half an hour without trying to stop us or being joined by vehicles. If it was one of the pack’s warriors then they wouldn’t have let us get this far from the pack.“Someone is following us,” I said. Lizzy glanced in the mirror, I had no doubt that she recognised the vehicle just as I did because concern crept over her face.“What are we going to do? Can we lose them?”“I don’t think so,” I replied.I could try speeding but they would only increase their speed too. If they had been instructed to follow us then they wouldn’t let us out of their sight. Trying to outrun them was only going to endanger Lizzy’s life, I couldn’t do that when we were so close to obtaining o

Chapter: Chapter 52
Elizabeth SummersJasper had spent the last week reassuring me that there would be at least a few Omegas who wanted to join our new pack. I never really believed him. I thought all of the Omegas in our pack would be too afraid of getting caught to take a chance on us, but as it turns out he was right. There were hundreds of them crammed into the small clearing we were using as a meeting place. Many of them were people who our pack had classified as Omegas just because one of their family members was an Omega. In most other packs they would have remained unranked and not had to endure the treatment that packs like ours forced Omegas to endure. They were probably coming with us in the hopes of getting a better life for themselves and their children. It was a huge risk on their part but I could understand why they would take it. It was probably the only chance they had of gaining their freedom, I would have done the same thing in their position.“Shouldn’t Sasha have arrived by now?” Nico

Chapter: Chapter 51
Jasper Hartford“Did you pay attention to anything I said?” Michael complained. The answer was no, although I would never admit that to him. He was looking at me across the dining table as I was trying to eat breakfast. The smug look on his face was putting me off my food, and I could really do with having a good breakfast this morning.I was up till late last night finalising all the plans for our escape later this afternoon. I was exhausted, much too exhausted to deal with Michael’s bullshit. If he was going to insist on talking to me then I was going to need a lot more coffee.“Of course I was listening, you were talking about your pack,” I replied. It was a guess but it was a calculated one, he was always talking about his pack. Trying to convince Sasha that her life would be better if she came back to his pack with him. Not that he was planning to give her a choice. He had made it clear on many occasions that it didn’t really matter to him what she thought. He was going to take he

Elizabeth SummersIf I thought Michael was annoying before he realised his ex-mate was here then I was mistaken. I clearly had no concept of how annoying Michael was capable of being. He was still following us around everywhere but now he was bringing a reluctant Sasha along with him. He kept one hand on her at all times even though it was clear to everyone else that his touch repulsed her.“Michael, please let go of me, I have to help with breakfast.” Sasha objected as Michael tried to pull her with him into the dining room.“No, you aren’t an Omega any more. You are my Luna.” Michael pulled her over to the dining table and sat her down beside him. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders and placed a kiss on her cheek. Sasha responded by shuddering and trying to put some distance between the two of them, I wasn’t sure if it was from fear or disgust. Other Omegas were flooding into the room, bringing everything we would need for breakfast with them.“I’m not worthy of being your Luna.

Chapter: Chapter 49
Jasper HartfordMichael was quickly becoming the bane of my very existence. He was refusing to allow Lizzy and me any time alone together, yesterday morning he even managed to come crashing into our room while we were having sex. Lizzy was about five seconds away from reaching her climax when Michael broke the lock on our door and tumbled into our room. Lizzy screamed in frustration and threw the covers around us so he wouldn’t be able to see anything but she was incredibly pissed off with him. If she hadn’t been naked then I am sure she would have strangled him right there and then.Later that day, once I had managed to calm Lizzy down somewhat, I confronted him about it. He claimed that he had heard screaming and thought that I was hurting her. It was a clear lie, he was trying to do anything in his power to annoy us so that we would retaliate. I hated how close he was to getting what he wanted almost as much as I hated him.In contrast, my parents seemed to be completely enamoured w

Chapter: Chapter 39 - Brianna
Everything about this place was amazing. I loved that it was much smaller and more personal than anything I had seen within my father’s pack, and I also loved that everything in here seemed to smell absolutely wonderful. I could see why Mason would come here so often, I had only been here for a few minutes but I could already feel myself getting more relaxed.Once the waitress came back to our table with our drinks, I ordered a sharing platter which had all different types of cakes on it. Mason had ordered the same thing and I figured that as he came here so often he would know what the best options on the menu would be. Besides, if Mason could even live up to half of what he was promising then I was going to need all the energy that I could get for tonight.“Maybe I should just take some pieces off your plates rather than ordering sometime for myself,” Dominic suggested.“Sure, maybe Mason will share with you,” I replied, scowling at Dominic playfully. I thought he had grown up aroun

Chapter: Chapter 38 - Mason
When I had originally planned this date it was meant to be for Brianna and me alone, as a way to get to know her better away from the prying eyes of our pack. Of course, I had planned this days ago, before I knew that she was going to meet her fated mate, or that I would end up being her second chance mate.I had planned to take her out to a few different places, each one being slightly more intimate than the last, before hopefully ending with us in bed together. There was no reason that part should have to change though, just because there were three of us now didn’t mean that we couldn’t all end the night in bed together, making each other come and marking each other.I hadn’t anticipated how much I was going to enjoy my mate being intimate with another man. When I first realised that she was mine as well as Dominic’s there was a slight slither of worry that I might get jealous when he touched her. But as the bond grew stronger between us I realised that it didn’t bother me, and now

Chapter: Chapter 37 - Brianna
I could feel the anger bubbling up inside of me despite the effort that both Dominic and Mason were putting into calming me down. As Dominic’s mother laid out my father’s crimes there was no more denying the kind of man that he was. It made me angry to think of all the people that he has hurt, but it wasn’t just him that I was angry with. I was also angry with myself for not noticing all the problems with our pack sooner and doing something to stop him.“I think that is enough for now. I can process the evidence and send it over to the council later today.” Rowan suggested. He tried not to look in my direction but the way he glanced at Mason made it clear that he didn’t trust me not to lose my temper at Dominic’s mother. I could understand his concern after everything he had heard about my family but it only made me feel worse. I wasn’t a monster like my father, and I didn’t like the idea of anyone thinking I was.“It’s fine. I’m angry at my father’s actions but I am not going to do an

Chapter: Chapter 36 - Dominic
It was a little uncomfortable for me to watch Mason and Brianna being so intimate over breakfast even though I understood why he was doing it. He wanted to show his pack that Brianna was his mate and that nothing was going to come between them, but that didn’t make it any easier for me to be on the outside of everything.Brianna and Mason had finished their breakfast and they, along with Rowan, were getting ready to have a meeting to discuss what to do about Alpha Kennedy. Brianna looked down at where I was sitting beside her, she was waiting for me to make some move to indicate that I would be joining them but when I didn’t do so she started to look worried.“Aren’t you coming with us?” She asked, the sadness in her eyes making me feel guilty for not giving in to her wishes.Going with her would have only made me feel better momentarily however, there was a good chance that if I went with them then it would just be a continuation of what had happened over breakfast. I wasn’t sure how

Chapter: Chapter 35 - Brianna
Trusting Mason to handle my father was difficult for me, but if this thing between us was ever going to work then I needed to trust him, so that is what I did. By the time my father stormed out of the room, it felt as though my trust in Mason had been rewarded because somehow he had managed to get his way without it turning into an argument. That was something I had never managed to achieve before. Not once in my whole life had my father allowed me to get my own way or win a fight. When I was growing up I assumed that this was how all of his interactions with other alphas went, but after seeing the way Mason was able to handle him I wasn’t so sure. I had seen Mason beat my father on a couple of different occasions which led me to believe that either my father was losing his edge or he wasn’t the man he always made out to be.“I’m sorry about that, my love. I was struggling not to lose my temper with him as it was, I wouldn’t have stood a chance if he had kept mocking you.” Mason expla

Chapter: Chapter 34 - Mason
Leaving Dominic alone with our mate didn’t sit well with me but it wasn’t as though I had any other choice. It wouldn’t exactly be fair to leave Rowan to deal with repercussions of Brianna’s prison break. It would be even worse considering that it was Brianna’s father who had turned out at our pack shortly after dawn, and he was threatening to report us to the council for misconduct. After Rowan mind linked me to let me know that alpha Kennedy had arrived I dressed quickly before heading downstairs to meet him. He was on my front doorstep with his beta and a couple of his warriors standing behind him, shouting loudly in my beta’s face.“Alpha Kennedy, to what do I owe this pleasure?” I asked as I casually walked up behind my beta.“I have evidence of your interference in my pack’s business.” Alpha Kennedy growled. He was clearly lying because it would be difficult to have evidence of something I didn’t do, but I couldn’t dismiss him without first having a discussion about it. I wasn’t
