SECOND CHANCES AT SUNRISE

SECOND CHANCES AT SUNRISE

CHAPTER TWENTY — TIDES AND TESTIMONIES The last day of their seaside escape greeted them with a sky washed clean after night rain, pale blue and brushed with thin streaks of silvered clouds. The ocean was lively today—higher tides, bolder waves, a song a little wilder than the lullabies it sang the nights before. Yara stepped onto the porch first, tugging her fleece tighter against her arms. “The sea is in a mood,” she said.

The Darkness Between Us

The Darkness Between Us

RYDER. My arms trembled as I held myself above her, muscles burning. Each breath dragged through my chest as if I'd been running for miles. The mate-bond thrummed beneath my ribs—not the gentle hum from before, but something deeper now. Insistent. Alive. I eased myself down and rolled to the side, but I couldn't let the space open between us. Wouldn't. I pulled Briella against me, and her head settled over my heart as if she'd been doing it for years. Like this wasn't the first time. Like we hadn't just crossed a line we could never uncross.

Howl between us

Howl between us

Chapter One — The Girl Who Burned Bridges The city never slept, not even when the moon was high and full, casting silvery light over the glittering glass towers of Crescent City. Neon signs buzzed. Taxi horns echoed. Humans hurried down sidewalks with coffee in one hand and stress in the other. Somewhere, music thumped from a club basement. And inside a tiny, too-warm coffee shop tucked between a bookstore and a vape lounge, Riley Hart was pretending not to exist.

The Beta Girl

The Beta Girl

To feel the strength of the tides to hit me . Don't get me wrong. I am not suicidal. I am not that weak. Moon Goddess sent me to this world. And only she has the right to call me back at the time she wants. I would never go against her plans. Dipping my feet further. I get up. Opening my arms to feel the water reach my knees. The intensity of the wave rising. Just a little more. Closing my eyes. Trying to balance in the waving water. I was living the best moments of my life.

This book is good like tour others The Rebel & To Betray the Mafia King I don't like you book The Girl he Banished & Death wolf. although you make good endings but Love shouldn't be poisonous & try to change the stories, I can see the similarities in ur books all the time

The grammar in this one is not very good. I have read up to chapter 3 and I just can’t continue this with this one. Examples would be lyme use of loose instead of lose. Other examples would be incomplete sentence structures.

Brian shrugged. "I'm hungry," Sam said, eyeing the range of cafes and restaurants lined in front of us. "How about lunch and then we'll got to the beach?" Jake asked from inside the car. He was probably hungry too. "Yeah," We all agreed. There was this restaurant called Beach Side Bomb which served some delicious seafood. Seeing the hungry boys, I knew we were going to be here for a while. *** After an hour, we were at the beach. It was past three in the afternoon.

The Alpha's Desire and the Dragon's Fire

The Alpha's Desire and the Dragon's Fire

Surely? The waves, started to become fiercer, which meant I was definitely approaching the shore. I just needed to get through this next bit alive, and I would make it. From the direction of the current it felt like the tide was likely going in. This was going to be to my advantage. When our parents had taken us on holiday, they’d taught us how the tides work. Jack of course had been too young, but I remembered my dad telling me how the tide coming in carried items with it. If I let go, there was every chance I would simply arrive on the shore.

A SIN BETWEEN US

A SIN BETWEEN US

Laurel's cell phone rang while she was arranging their clothes in the closet in a beautiful room on the second floor of this house. This room has a balcony with a bridge overlooking the beach. If we stand at the end of the balcony, we will be able to see a vast view without borders of the sky and the blue sea combined separated by a stunning horizon line. While below, the waves look beautiful rolling, as if calling to invite swimming.

Selene and Fenric both turned their eyes toward it. Now that they knew there was a traitor in the estate who had freed Zirion and was not necessarily under Vanessa's command, they had to be extra careful. So, Selene stopped the maid who was serving them the food and said, "Get the physician here to examine it." When the physician arrived, she had him test the dishes. Sure enough, it was just as she had expected. The physician reported, "Ms. Wyndham, there is indeed some unusual substance in this food. It's sweet, but there's an unmistakable hint of subtle bitterness. The food is laced with Stingnet Weed, which grows in abundance in Canmir."

Thirty Days

Thirty Days

Taylor and I are standing on the pebbles that make up Brighton’s ‘beach’, watching the waves crash on the shore as the weak, wintery sun does its best to warm our freezing limbs. When it is clear that the warmth radiating off Taylor is not enough to stop me from shaking with cold, we agree that it is time to head back into town.
