The Deserted Wife

The Deserted Wife

“Damn you, Shane! If you make her cry again, I will come after you.” The next morning, Tristan woke up in an unfamiliar room. His head was heavy when he tried to get up. “Tsk! Where am I?” He mumbled to himself looking around. Just when he turned to his right, his eyes widened in disbelief. A woman who was wearing nothing was sleeping next to him. “Who are you?” Tristan exclaimed in surprise. “What are you doing— why are you here?” Slowly, the woman woke up and their eyes met. “Good morning,” she mumbled and smiled. “How are you feeling? Not good, huh? I’m not surprised at all. After what you did last night—”

ANTIPODE : LOVE FROM THE OTHER SIDE

She was nothing but a pathetic woman at that moment. Left with no choice, she follows the man. Until they reach the cave. Des was there patiently waiting. “Aliyah”, exclaimed Des. But Aliyah did not respond. “Stay here, I have to find some food for the three of us”, ordered the man. The two women did nothing but just stare at the stones in the cave. “How are you?”, asked Des. She was too bored and anxious. She needed someone to talked with. “Do not talk to me”, said Aliyah.

Alpha Alexander

Alpha Alexander

The silver had weakened her senses, dampened her strength, and made her wolf whimper in retreat within her mind. The scent of mildew, salt, and unwashed bodies choked her nostrils. From above, the heavy stomping of boots, harsh laughter, and the deep grumble of men’s voices echoed through the thick wood. A creaky door at the end of the corridor opened, letting in a flicker of torchlight. A middle-aged woman stepped in, plain-faced with dull brown eyes and a scarf wrapped around her head. She carried a chipped bowl of water and a chunk of stale bread on a metal plate. The woman set it down without a word, not even a glance. Serena stared at the food, stomach twisting—not with hunger, but desp

The Woman He Detests

she was going to say more but slept, I couldn't grab at her other words as they were just mere whispers. I turned to look at her and she was sleeping. I shook her but she didn't wake up. I wanted to ask her some questions at least she might answer me but after a few more fruitless trials, I gave up. Her hands slipped from her side and touched me, frightening me by the sudden contact as I held the hand and pushed it away from me in disgust. Who could she be talking about?, who is Melissa?. Did she remarry? No, that's not possible. I had her investigated two weeks ago.

The Princess and Her Werebear

The Princess and Her Werebear

She reaches out instinctively for Jasper, touching his arm. He jumps, his body pivoting toward her. Eliana holds the pain of his reaction at bay as her eyes continue to watch the strange figure. She wears a thin pair of pants and a shirt that is too short, exposing parts of her stomach. Jasper follows her gaze, only to hiss and grab for Eliana's arm. She moves too soon, though, following the woman as she wanders through the city. There is a pull on Eliana's chest, forcing her forward. Her mind is a blur, and she does not come to, until she is standing before the woman outside of a deserted building. There are no more citizens moving about around them.

A Dangerous Atrophy

A Dangerous Atrophy

She was extremely quiet, her face turned to the side as she silently looked outside the window. He did not understand this woman. Just two hours ago, she had rushed out of that building like a woman possessed. At the time, she was emanating a deep despair, the emotion overflowing so much that even Dos, a fully grown man, could feel it. The terror and despair leaking from her body and the depths of her heart were given almost physical form. Dos glanced carefully into the woman in the rearview mirror again… She was too quiet right now. “Yes. Mr. Stewart told me to wait for you downstairs with the car.”

I just finished reading the book, I enjoyed it and found myself looking forward to each chapter. There were moments where it felt neverending and repetitive, nevertheless I can't wait to read the end. In the meantime, I ask other readers what their thoughts of the book and how they hope it will end?

Absolutely amazing! I've been an avid lover of books for my entire life and I can honestly say that this either ties with my favorite novel, The Count of Monte Cristo, or might even surpass it with it's engaging plot, interesting characters, and a writing style that constantly keeps you wanting more

[ENG] Rebirth as a Billionaire's Wife

[ENG] Rebirth as a Billionaire's Wife

For some unknown reason, the dead city that was usually filled with zombies looked really like a deserted dead city these days. Along the way alone, the woman could not find the zombies that frequently wandered around the streets or houses. It seems other volunteers have also started gossiping about the same thing recently. Some began to assume that the zombies were finally exhausted under the persistent struggle of humans. But the woman was sure that was not the main reason the zombies had disappeared now. There were many of them, and it seemed impossible for them to just disappear like a thin air. The woman felt a little uneasy, as she began to walk through the deserted mall cautiously.

Vampire on Fire

Vampire on Fire

“Yes, I would like to, Alex.” Several files were sent to Raverine’s screen. One that caught his attention was the file labeled as ‘Desert Death’ and instantly opened to check it. It was a suicide case, a mentally ill woman who went to the desert to starve herself. Then the word ‘burnt’ was highlighted. Then he scrolled down and clicked the pictures. There were two men facing a woman while the other man was pointing to the spot where the woman died. The woman, Raverine looked closely at her face. “It’s her,” Raverine mumbled and memorized the face of the other guys within the picture.

The Girl in the Wilderness

The Girl in the Wilderness

I felt a sudden wave of heat, like I'm on fire. My blood boils as I sweat profusely. A loud groan filled my head. Her eyes shone the vibrant gold. Dark strands of red weigh down to her thin waist. The woman is weeping. Slowly, the light in her golden orbs disappear; her eyes covered by darkness. And all I felt was the coldness. Her pulse weakened and I could feel my lungs tightening. “You did nothing wrong.” A soft, mellow voice whispered.
