My Death Was Known Three Years Later

My Death Was Known Three Years Later

Her fingers hammered against the phone, the sharp tapping echoing her irritation. [Say something. Don't act like you're dead.] [If you don't want it, then return it.] Those cold, cutting words dragged me back to that bone-chilling night in the snow. I wanted to tell her that I was already dead—that I had frozen to death in the cheap down jacket she bought me. Winter in the north is brutally cold. So cold that, after failing to secure a hospital bed, I merely closed my eyes for a moment—and never opened them again.

A Cold New Year

A Cold New Year

On New Year’s Eve, Kian Newman never came home. Instead, he had someone deliver a container of frozen ravioli and sent me a single message: "Stay safe this year." I had barely locked the screen when a photo popped up in the company group chat. Isabel Wilkinson, Kian's assistant, had posted it. It was a lavish holiday dinner spread across the table, every dish clearly homemade. The caption read: "Someone spent all day cooking so I could have a taste of home. Love you."

The Last Guests of Winter

The Last Guests of Winter

There was a figure inside one of the cars. Based on what I knew, it had to be Ruby. While I was eating stew, they must have gotten into another fight. Ruby had probably tried once more to drive down the mountain. However, she had underestimated the horror of the cold. Her body temperature must have dropped too fast. She froze inside the car, turning into an ice statue. That left only Rhett, Kelly, Nevin, and Luis. I wondered how they would handle things the next day, when the food ran out.

Swapped for His True Love in the Flaming Apocalypse

Swapped for His True Love in the Flaming Apocalypse

I crouched down and pressed my hand flat against the ground. The first winter after the end of the world was the coldest one I could remember. Later, Elliot told me that Rhett had sat at that same intersection all night. They found him there the next morning, frozen, his arms curved in the shape of someone carrying a child. I laughed at that, a short, humorless sound, and said nothing. When I looked up at Elliot, the snow was coming down harder. It covered everything quickly, blanketing the ground in white, burying the past the way snow always does.

The Exiled Princess

The Exiled Princess

Earth winter was evil. Not dramatic, majestic, High Realm winter with glittering frost and dignified storms. No. Earth winter attacked the bones. It crawled into the joints. It seeped into the spine. It gnawed at the edges of the soul like a cold, petty gremlin. I marched into the pack kitchen shivering so hard my teeth clicked. Several wolves glanced up from their cooking, eyes widening as I wrapped myself tighter in my white coat. “This realm,” I announced loudly, “is trying to freeze me alive.”

A Different Kind of Alpha: Blood Oath

A Different Kind of Alpha: Blood Oath

Alexei Waiting is its own kind of war. The cold up here isn't just cold, it’s a living, malicious thing. It chews through armor, through wool, through skin, and settles right in your bones. It’s a patient cold, and it’s been our only companion for six agonizing hours. We lie on our bellies in the snow on the high ridge, a hundred yards above the tunnel mouth. The sun has bled out behind the western peaks, dragging all the light and warmth from the world.

I feel like the story was drawn out and slow at some points, but overall it was good. I love Kieran and Alexei as a couple and how they interacted with the other characters. The only thing I would change is having them switch occasionally in the bedroom since Kieran is an alpha too.

Rejected Luna: I Will Take Everything Mine

Rejected Luna: I Will Take Everything Mine

Auretta’s POV “Do you see the snow on that tree?” I stood in front of the window with Alaric in my arms. My index finger pointed at the tall tree in the front yard of the warrior camp, which was next to this mansion. “Winter has arrived. Do you like seeing snow?” Alaric stared at me without blinking. "The winter temperature in the River Pack Clan is not too cold compared to the Mountain Pack Clan and the Sea Pack Clan. The coldest is the Sea Pack Clan because they are surrounded by the sea, which blows strong cold winds."

Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas

Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas

~Noah~ The pulsating beats echoed through the dimly lit house as Winter unleashed a side of herself I never knew existed. Winter, typically serene and composed, became a force on the dance floor, moving with a magnetic energy that left me both captivated and intrigued. It was a revelation – Winter on the wild side.

I haven't started to read this book. I'm sure this book will be good. I have read her Dark Side of Fate and Puppy Love and both were amazing books. Now, I have started reading Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas, which I think are about Leo's and Amelia's twins from Puppy Love.

Can you guys please help me get the embargo in Hayland? It's been a while since I finished Puppy Love and I can't remember the exact reason for the Hayland embargo. I remember that Hayland was where Rachel worked in a brothel. I also missed how Leslie suddenly got rich and her Armstrong connection

Reborn Through Fire

Reborn Through Fire

Kisa replied. Mia shook her head and smirked. "Don't go thinking everyone is a saint. What if I don't give it back to Gilbert?" Kisa sighed and lowered her eyes. "If that happens, then it just means I misread you." Mia's smile faltered, and she said nothing more. Kisa felt like she had gained some insight but did not want to dwell on it for too long. Winter in Calthon was a brutal affair, colder even than Oceanville, and the snow had started to fall before Kisa even made it halfway home. By the time she pulled up to the Kooper residence, a thick layer of white had already blanketed the ground.

if you are new reader to this novel, don't start. waste of time, author has no intention to conclude. even after all mysteries & conflict solved, they create new problems so the story never ends. gave 5* so this review won't be pushed behind
rodeo rod
author drags it too long. however, with all these happenings now, neverending failure of kisa, I hope author just make kisa die in the end, so Gilbert and Jensen will live suffering with regret. really,i hope kisa die with the baby, then it'll be worth it to read all these messy chapters. satisfyin

Married at First Sight

Married at First Sight

Dylan was speechless. Leaving the warm indoors, he felt Huntington's winter was really cold. It was below freezing, and the temperature was as low as 14°F to 32°F. He had never experienced such low temperatures in Wiltspoon. In Wiltspoon, the moment the temperature dropped to 50°F, everyone would start saying it was freezing. Winston and Leticia headed back. Leticia whispered to her husband, “What if he really stands there for two hours without his coat and freezes to death?”
