Shadowbound Flame

Shadowbound Flame

Sierra’s POV She drifted in a sea of smoke and warmth, darkness curling soft and strange around her body—not cold like night, not cruel like pain, but safe. Familiar. It lapped at her skin like a tide that had been waiting centuries to find her again. Something pulsed beneath her ribs. Slow. Ancient. A heartbeat that wasn’t quite hers.

Swallowed by the Flames of Regret

Swallowed by the Flames of Regret

"The patient has severe burns and significant carbon monoxide poisoning, with a possible risk of stroke." Atlas stared at the ceiling, listening silently as the doctor read out his appalling health condition. However, he was unconcerned. His mind was filled with images of Naomi. "Naomi... Which room is Naomi in?" His voice was hoarse, his throat thick with the taste of blood.

Set Fire and Burn

Set Fire and Burn

Chapter 55 Set Fire and Burn by Ruth Nalio Angelica… How could a heart ache when it no longer existed? I had become something unholy—flame-wreathed bone, a screaming soul bound in fire. When I snapped, I didn’t break—I burned. My rage flared hotter than the sun, a molten scream that cracked the earth open beneath my feet and pulled the sky down in a frenzy of tornados.

The Burning

The Burning

thermal acceleration" —none of which made much sense to me. But as I flipped further into the journal, the entries became more personal. More frantic. {The project is spiraling out of control. We thought we could contain it, but the models were wrong. The simulations were wrong. We’re not prepared for what’s coming.} {The heat is spreading faster than we anticipated. The atmosphere is destabilizing. There’s no stopping it now. God help us all.} My heart began to race as I read the final few entries, the words scrawled hastily, as if the person writing them had been in a panic. {The Burning is inevitable. We’ve failed. There’s nothing left but survival.}

Shadows of Silk & Steel: A Billionaire's Secret, A Bodyguar

Shadows of Silk & Steel: A Billionaire's Secret, A Bodyguar

The cold had become a living thing, a third presence in their pine sanctuary, patient and insatiable. It had gnawed through Anton’s numbness into a deep, aching burn in his bones. Sabatine’s shivering had grown intermittent, a dangerous sign. The shared warmth of their bodies was a failing furnace. Dawn was a theoretical concept, a distant myth beyond the black vault of branches. It was Sabatine who stirred first, a grim determination cutting through the haze of pain and hypothermia. With a groan that seemed to tear from his very core, he pushed himself up onto his elbows. “Fire,” he gritted out, the single word a monumental effort.

Beneath the Winter Moon

Beneath the Winter Moon

Power pulsed through her palms, seeking the poison, tugging at it, unraveling its grip thread by thread. His jaw tensed, a weak growl slipping free as his body shuddered under the strain. Celeste leaned closer, her voice steady though her heart raced. “I know. I know it burns. Just hold on. I can’t take it all out at once, it’s too deep, too toxic. But I can ease it.”

Aegis of the Immortal: Blood Blessed

Aegis of the Immortal: Blood Blessed

Why are they still above me? Worst was the fact that he could feel the steady burn trailing a path down his chest, leaving a cold trail of burns that would be covered in scarred tissue before a third day. He could attribute being the weakest of the three to being held back by the pain. But regardless of how practiced a liar he was, this lie was one he couldn’t fall for; on more than one occasion he’d burned colder and faster than this. This pain slowed him, but not enough to make a significant difference.

Changing Fate for the Alpha King

My reactions are slowing. I look at the spot he’s been watching for some time and freeze. The flesh around the wound on my thigh and stomach is burning. Yes, it’s me. I am dying. Again.

I too will give this book 10 stars!! It’s an amazing story following Dustin and Elita and their roller coaster journey to love. The entire series is a must read. Our friends from the other 3 books make appearances in this one as the story comes full circle. S.Y. is an amazing aurhor. You’ll love it.

My favorite book from these series. Dustin is what a real king should be. Strong, responsible, protective and so on. But somehow it doesn't seem worthless to be so great no matter what if at the end of the day he is just a lonely man with no one to share his burden. I really hope for a grand finale.

Divine Academy

"You need to calm down a little. I know you're upset, but I can see the fire burning inside you. You look like you're going to combust, and I don't know what that level of Hellfire will do." I could hear him trying to soothe me, but it was like a small breath of wind in a raging storm. Not enough to blow out the flame, but just enough to spread the fire further. It went from the fire burning in me internally to the fire spreading all over my outer body. Its scorching flames licked my skin, making it crawl on my body, squeezing tight against my bones as it shrank in the heat.

Rejected by My Mate, Fated to the Lycan King

Rejected by My Mate, Fated to the Lycan King

Scarlett The moment my fingers brush the bark, the forest reacts. Not with a whisper or a sigh, but with a sharp blaze of heat that jumps straight up my arm like wildfire. Golden script curls and coils over my skin. My name, written in letters that glow like they’re forged from the sun itself. I jerk my hand back, eyes wide, heart hammering hard enough to drown out the sounds of the woods. The burn fades as fast as it flared, but the mark stays. Bright and impossible to ignore.
