With his cousin in the driver’s side he didn't have to worry about getting snuck from behind.

Sure, he’s got a cute smile, but his mouth? Super annoying!” I instinctively glanced at Rocky, studying him more closely. His smile really was sweet, and his school uniform made him look approachable. But judging from what Arum had just said, I figured I’d better stay cautious around this guy. Still, for some reason, that cute smile only made me more curious. “Heh, I just realized… this guy’s way too cute to be in a biker gang!” I grinned at Arum. Arum stifled a laugh and shot a quick glance toward Rocky.

Rocky looks at me as his lycan tears free, pointing with his muzzle to the barrier for me to go, but I refuse to leave him. Rogues burst past us, breaking into the barrier, lycans tearing them down without a thought. I never anticipated war to be quiet, but I’m not sure I imagined it being this loud, either. Rocky stands twenty feet in front of me, cutting down every rogue that comes near him. There is a roar that explodes and suddenly Violet is next to Rocky and Ames taking Marcus’ place where he has fallen. He crawls toward the border, but I can see the extent of his injuries.
