Sa di inaasahang pangyayari ay nakakilala siya ng isang dalagang anak ng isang mayamang Mestizo. Ang dalagang iyon na nagpaibig sa kanya ay si Selestina. Ngunit nang mamatay ang kanyang iniirog ay nakipagkasundo siya sa Diyos na si Ulilang Kaluluwa. Binigyan siya ng walang hanggang buhay upang hintayin muli ang muling pagkabuhay ng kanyang Greatest Love.
