A deep, husky voice reached my ears. “Who is this?” I jerked up from the bed, fully awake. “Mr. Quin, you called me.” Huh? In reflex, I looked at my screen, and the caller name was saved as “Mr. Smith The Hard Core.” I struggled to remember how I got the number and where. My attention was suddenly drawn to the long tube inserted in my hand.

The tension is palpable, a powder keg waiting for a spark. Luna tugs suddenly at my sleeve, his face pale. "It's not gone," he warns. "The Void—it's changed, but it's still here." I feel it the moment he speaks—a subtle wrongness skating across my enhanced senses. Where before the Void was a force of obvious destruction, now it moves through reality like a virus, infecting small pockets of space with its entropy. More insidious, harder to detect, but potentially just as dangerous. "We'll need to—" I begin, but chaos erupts before I can finish.

“It’s not even used to the fullest. If I were the killer, I would even put this to the face of the victim for mockery’s sake.” Jack cringed and looked horrified at his boss. “That’s disturbing, boss.” but Jack knew very well how his boss’ mind works; that is why he was able to solve so many cases while he was on the force. That is why he was considered one of the greatest detectives to ever work at the force, and that is why he looked up to Azrick Norton Tevyat to the point of following him into becoming a Private Investgator. He could not help but smile.

Third persons POV, "Detective Conan," Damien called, and the detectives both turned to look at who the voice belongs to. "Damien, good to see you," Detective Conan said but then cringed at his words realizing he was her to identify a body and there’s nothing good about that. Damien stared at the detective with a dead look on his face without saying any word, but only gestured at the body in front of the detectives as if to say is that the body you want to check.

I said, my voice sounding flat, drained of its usual resonance by the Suppression Cubes. The lead Hunter didn't hesitate, he swung the rod, aiming for my temple. I didn't use the Eclipse, I didn't reach for the Shadow Heart, those were "powers," and the cubes were designed to eat power, instead, I reached for the Void. The Void isn't magic, it isn't an energy, it is the absence of everything, you cannot suppress "nothing."

It was the sound of the Void itself trying to speak through a human throat. "I'm here, Dante," I said, my voice shaking as I reached out to touch his arm. His skin was freezing, a temperature that shouldn't have been possible for a living being. I looked at his chest. A new mark was burning its way into his skin, right over his heart. It wasn't the Wolf of the Thorne line. It was a Void-Wolf—a jagged, light-eating sigil that seemed to writhe and pulse with a life of its own. It was a black hole in the shape of a predator.

Third party POV “So, what do you have for us?” Hayden’s voice was low but firm as he addressed the secret detective who had been covertly working for them. The detective, keeping his demeanor casual, responded, “While I was away for Thanksgiving dinner with my family, I wasn’t able to pick up on anything out of the ordinary that might link Dillion’s death to someone directly. However, our team is diligently working on it. As soon as there’s an update, I’ll ensure you’re the first to know.”

Many take photos with very clear and good results. One photo shows a vampire on the edge of the forest, sucking the blood of a pig. It is too much evidence. Forced to erase some of his memory using Emergency-Hipno, and cover up the anomaly with a car accident. In the case of the shifters, it has been reported to the relevant people.
