BLINDED BY REVENGE CHAPTER ONE Bellona had the same terrifying dream again. She saw her parents being pursued and then killed right in front of her. Their blood flowed on the ground as their blank eyes stared up at her. Their killer who wore a mask pointed at her. "You are next!" he said menacingly. Bellona woke up. Her heart was pounding very fast and she still felt the fear that she had felt in her dream. She got up from bed and went to drink water.

"We can't let it win." As the battle raged on, the Guardians fought with a ferocity born of desperation, their every move calculated and precise. But as the creature's power grew, threatening to overwhelm them, they knew that their victory would come at a cost. With their backs against the wall and their strength waning, the Guardians braced themselves for the final, decisive blow, knowing that the fate of their world hung in the balance. Suddenly, a blinding light erupted from the depths of the cavern, illuminating the darkness with a brilliance that drove back the shadowy creature. The Guardians shielded their eyes, momentarily blinded by the intensity of the light.

Because the Light pack could not be allowed to die, Uncle Morgan gave everything for the pack and in his absence, as his daughter in law, I would not let my father in law life long pack to end. So I stood there, crowned and alone, my heart torn but my spirit unbent. The storm would not take me. I was Viona, Luna of the Light pack. And even if I had to walk that path without him, I would not falter. Not ever, though unrecognized, I have done it before and I can do it again.

He shot a look at Tony, who was chomping on a cigar, and jabbed a needle into my arm. Before I could fully wake up, I was hit by a wave of burning heat. As the drug kicked in and my face turned red-hot, they laughed and left, slamming the door behind them. The room went pitch black. I bit down hard, fighting to keep my wits about me.

What the hell was going on? My Landon? It couldn't be… “Do you think she'll find out?” The woman asked. “She's too trusting, and she loves me. Even if she finds out, she has nowhere to go. She's blind. I own her.” Landon's voice was sure, almost amused like he was telling a joke. I was the joke. The words hit me like a slap. Blind….. He said it so casually as if the fact that I could not see made me an object. Something to own and control.

I always fight the belief of accepting the fact that I will find my mate one of these days. I thought being blind wasn't the reason why I hadn't found my mate. Maybe it wasn't just my turn, right? Not that my life wasn't beautiful or nice, it was perfect since I lived with my younger sister and Grandma. Call me stupid, but I would prefer having my sister and grandma than having a mate, I have heard rumors about people being rejected by their mate.

Justin let out a low chuckle as he spanked my ass once again while I trembled against him. “Pick a blindfold, stunning.” Justin murmured after a few seconds, pointing at the two blindfolds which were citrently being held up by Blaze. One was black and the other was white, I personally liked the white one, it was one of my favorites because aside it being decorated with real diamonds, it gave me this illusion that I was innocent, when indeed, I wasn’t. “The white one.” I watched and gulped as Blaze moved towards me, “I’ll miss staring into these gorgeous eyes.” Blaze murmured right before the blindfold covered my eyes, cascading me in complete darkness which I eagerly welcomed.

A future no longer bound by darkness, but written entirely in light.
