A couple along with their 16 years old daughter who's deaf and 13 years old son moves into a small town called Santa Monica, everything was perfect not until their 16 year old daughter started acting differently.

Ten years ago, I ditched a high-paying job for my family. A decade later, they asked for my kidney—supposedly for my daughter, Talia. Turns out, the real patient was Hudson's first love's son. They didn't even fake remorse. Hudson sneered, convinced I couldn't survive without him. Talia called me old and fat, acting like I should be grateful to help Bianca's kid. A whole decade of sacrifice, and what did I get? No love. No thanks. Just entitlement. To them, I was nothing but a free, disposable maid. So I walked. No regrets. I rebuilt my life, found a job, and never looked back. Then reality smacked them. Hudson and Talia finally realized everything I'd done. They begged me to come back—but my heart was already stone-cold. In the end, I left the country, threw myself into work, and finally learned what it meant to live.

“Is it because I am blind?” “Yes.” said Violet without hesitation. “It was easy to deceive you because you couldn't see.” “I guess it was.” Kian bowed his head, “I'm sorry for not realizing that sooner, but I won't let you be killed either. I gave you my word.” Violet unsheathed the saintess's sword and took three steps backwards. Kian stood there, unsure of what she was trying to do. “Your promise doesn't matter. I'd rather commit suicide than be killed by you hypocrites!” “How do you think your aunt will feel about you doing this to yourself then?” Violet paused in her steps. H-how? She couldn't even bring herself to ask anything. Using Violet's distraction, Kian grabbed her right arm and moved her away from the cliff. Then he placed a crystal in her right hand, “Go. The crystal will show you the way out ” She hesitated, “B-but—” She was interrupted by Kian's innocent peck on her lips, “I promise, you won't be hurt.” “Didn't you say that was a way of sealing promises between outsiders?” Violet's lips trembled and her hands, unevenly. Why was he acting so weird? He was blind. How could he kiss her? How could he.. She was slowly losing her mind. “Get going then. We'll definitely meet again when fate joins us together.” he smiled making 's heart beat loudly in guilt. ‘I'm sorry’ she thought as she turned to leave.

I do now" I said casually. "Really? And what is that?" She fumed. "You, baby." I smirked. Ruby, Scarlett, Sam and Wolf were all childhood best friends. As close as they could be. Ruby moved away years ago when her parents divorced. Her mother wanted a fresh start in New York. Everyone promised to keep in touch but, of course, they didn't. Only her cousin. Scarlett stuck by Ruby. Ruby survived though. She made new friends and her mother remarried making her new best friend Cassy her sister. Wolf was broken when Ruby left. Losing her changed him. As the years wore on, he became darker and cruel. He joined his Dad and ran the local MC and truly loved the lifestyle. Sam felt hollow since Ruby left. He distracted himself with football and girls and had earned himself quite a reputation. Ruby and Cassy became best friends while their mothers dated. They both embraced the New York party lifestyle. Ruby changed from a sweet, quiet girl to a bit of a wild child but kept her heart of gold. That is, until Ruby and Cassy have to move back to Rose Hills with their mothers. Wolf and Sam are shocked to see Ruby again. One of them view her as a challenge, the other as prey. Ruby has other ideas though. She's not the same girl that left and she's not about to let anyone hurt her again.

I always wanted them to not find me out , but the truth is , I just waited to be found out by someone .
