Il s'agit de l'histoire imaginaire d'un jeune homme qui, après la mort tragique de ses parents a décidé d'intégrer une unité spéciale de lutte contre le crime, dénommée Bureau d'Enquête Scientifique et Technique en abrégé le BEST, pour rechercher et traduire en justice les assassins de ses parents. Mais suite à une affaire dans laquelle sa famille a été menacée, il a décidé de ne plus la mettre en danger et il quitta l'agence pour se consacrer à la gestion de l'entreprise parentale avec sa sœur cadette.
