In the climate of television those years, Stewie's pharmacist character is indeed one of the most interesting and complex. However, this question doesn't appear to have an obvious answer. Because the writers have made Stewie such a wonderfully ambiguous character. Or it is remembered. His perceived sexual orientation is a running joke in the series, and it can change momentarily (or depending on whether each episode is more heavily scripted). Humor is the focus of "Family Guy." As long as it can be funny, don't take yourself seriously and try to inject some passion into what you're doing -- anything goes within reason (and without mistaking anyone else for hirself). Since every general concept in this show is exaggerated into the category of extreme, then Kid I'll Blow Up New Hampshire works more than makes an easy laugh. The subject represents status flows everyday and so as a happy person it's unpredictable. That said, I appreciate this kind of unpredictability which everyone will find both funny in their own ways out and (I hope) amusing at least then.

'Family Guy' Stewie--This is a roller coaster! His humor is so patch-work and odd that it creates unexpected bursts of laughter. For every now and then the show makes it look as if this baby might be homosexual, but there is no explicit declaration. He has been trying to tie down Stewie's identity for the entire series. Now and then this is forced by his sense of humor, rather than any development in the evolution of the character. After all, 'Family Guy' is based on such immovable ground. It's all about laughs and keeping the audience guessing with plot twists so abrupt they buckle!

The way people might take their impulse when it has another's face, will be the matter again of personal interpretation for 'Family Guy''. But despite many such possibilities splashing around us everywhere, you go these days (most of which will never actually correspond directly with reality). In fact, the program's creators have never officially confirmed his home life at all. Stewie sometimes acts in ways that, from a social point of view, defy logic (for example see his uncharacteristically altruistic gesture toward Meg in "Dammit Janet") but this is one thing that makes him attractive as a character and keeps viewers coming back.
