As someone who has grown up a hoops nut, I've heard the hoopsters talk about twisted ankles, bruised knees and even torn ACLs. But herpes? That's really out of left field. But when you say that, it makes me think of a musician. NBA Youngboy.
And you're right--he does indeed have herpes. He's quite open about it in public and even mentions it in his songs. Conditions of personal health like this are generally tough to come clean about, but being open is a brave move. Think of the courage and bravado it takes not to let anything hold you down, not even a stigma as oppressive as herpes.

In the 'Jujutsu Kaisen' series, Toji Fushiguro indeed meets his demise. Toji, known for his strength, faces off Sukuna; however, he is ultimately killed in the battle. But ACGN enthusiasts, fear not! His appearances as a spirit or in flashbacks provides viewers the joy of watching him again.

NBA YoungBoy is one savvy artist in both music and money. As of my last scan, his wealth was estimated at a solid $6 million. That's no small potatoes. His rap game's got substance and his display of pure talent has brought him far. Surely, money isn't the only measure of success, but that kind of bank balance does show you his popularity.

This is true of 'Kakashi Hatake'in 'Naruto'. He does indeed die, but fortunately it is only temporary. Finally, in the Pain Arc Chōji Akimichi is saved by him taking on himself an attack from Asura Path; until his Mangekyō Sharingan gives out anyway.
Then after that, there appears to be a golden light and his father appears before him: "You’ve really got those eyes of yours working overtime now, Kakashi!" He truly seems happy about the whole thing. He meets his death briefly yet again. (Or alternately)
With his overchased ninjutsu, Itachi returns to that place where as a kid he had so many enjoyable times asking fo advice from dad.Too bad: He was actually killed during the Pains' attack, but quick as you know it Nagato revives him along with everyone else.
