Two things woke me, the bright light streaming in through the window and the heavy blanket on my body. I groaned and tried turning but then I realized the heavy thing on me wasn't a blanket, it was Xavier. His arm was draped over me, holding me close to him, and his breathing was soft against the back of my neck.
