When I woke up to an empty bed, I felt my heart drop, thinking that I dreamt it all up. I quickly got out of bed, spotting a little note on my nightstand. The writing on it was messy; it read: good morning sweetie, had a morning call, will see you later, with a funny face drawn beside it. I found myself smiling as I pulled out my phone to text him, taking a picture of the note and sending it to him.Me: you could have just texted meAlmost immediately he replies Dameon: I could have, but I guessed you would love the note.Me: I do I added a heart emoji to my message, giggling.  I felt like I was floating, I loved what I was feeling. Then I remembered that I had to go back to school as my suspension had ended. I quickly got ready for school.I wore a knitted striped sweater with jeans, humming to myself as I got ready.School was the usual whispers and stares, just that this time, it wasn't about what Felix did to me, but about what I did to Adam. 

I looked at my phone, hoping to see a text from Dameon, but there was still nothing. I was kind of disappointed.  I put the phone down, telling myself not to get my hopes high, and left to take a shower.When I got out of the shower, I decided to watch some movies before bed. As I was about to start the movie, I heard my phone ding with a message. I looked at it, lightening up as I stared at the contact name on the screen. Dameon: come outsideI wasted no time putting on my shoes and rushed downstairs, my heart pounding in my chest.I couldn't believe he came! I was nearly floating with happiness.
