Audrey.It's noon when I wake up on the couch. I sit up and stretch, noticing that the TV is still on. I make a mental note to inform Xavier about the woman that came to see him today. That would be when he gets back though. I didn't let her in, nor did I talk to her. It took quite a while before she left, as she was really convinced that Xavier was home. But then, could I blame her? I had left the TV on when I went to take a shower and the sound of the TV was what convinced her that Xavier was home. As she persisted in ringing the doorbell, I had made myself comfortable on the couch, my heart thrumming in my chest as I watched the news channel that was on. That was how I fell asleep. So far, there's been no mention of me on the news. And I don't know if I should be relieved or scared. I turn off the TV, standing up from the couch as a yawn escapes from my mouth.
