Draco’s POVThe earth rumbled, and a loud growl filled the air as we approached the borders of the Still Moon Pack. Silence, unusual for the Werewoods, hung over the rabbit- and birdless path. The tree branches shook as if startled by a significant force. Chaotic sounds of battle filled the woods as we got closer.“Alpha, it looks like there’s a battle going on up ahead,” Sebastian conveyed through the mind link. My team journeyed toward the Still Moon Pack, fulfilling a council directive.But that wasn’t my only goal.
