Marietta’s POV“Congratulations, Mrs. Lockhart,” The doctor smiled, reaching out to me with a white envelope. “You are two weeks pregnant,”I took the white envelope from the doctor with shaky hands. “No, no, no. This must have been a mistake. Do you think I might have been misdiagnosed?”“A mistake? The blood samples clearly match yours.” The doctor concluded.“But well, you might be correct. It sometimes happens,” he added. I heaved a sigh and felt relieved.“I’ll ask one of my efficient staff to attend to you. She will take your blood samples and carry out the test again.
