Cassandra’s POV The sun rays finally found their way through the curtains and it became more evident that the day of the combat had arrived, it wasn't just near, it was here. My heart pounded faster as I watched the particles from the sun rays float in the room. I barely slept the night before. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw Marcus fighting Bernard, blood staining the ground, his body broken. My mind keeps coming up with different scenarios to keep my eyes wide open.
