Cory stopped at the mall and they ran in for some quick supplies. Cory remembered what she said about hiding under the bed and dropped his gaze. The bed wasn’t high enough to get under. He put the bottles down and walked around the bed to the side that was next to the window, it was only a gap of two feet, enough to fit the side table.As he came around he felt his heart constrict to see a tiny little lump on the floor covered in the sheet she had been putting on the bed looking like a mummy. Quinn had a huge smile on her face as she panted easily out her mouth. Cory paced along easily beside her as they jogged around the crescent streets of the closed community.
