He threw the car keys to Romeo and pointed to a blue Lexus Rx car. "You see that over there? That's the one we are going with," "We are here now," Romeo announced. It was a twenty-minute drive. The shortest drive that George has ever had. "So fast?" George asked. He thought it was gonna be a long journey. "Yes, so fast. I could understand your reaction. It's because it's your first time," Romeo explained. Then he went ahead to narrate everything that needed to be known about the station. He laid more emphasis on Rhoda and Officer Lucas than anyone else. To him, those two were the real vampires of the station. "I've heard everything you said. Rhoda hasn't rested since she escorted Dexter to see his Father. Rhoda wasn't with them in the visitor’s room but her heart won't stop beating faster. This was the only time she ever wished that Dexter would be granted bail by his father so she could be free from the pressure the coopers had heaped on her. As Rhoda mauled over her thoughts, Lucas walked past her unnoticed. He returned to her duty post when he noticed that Rhoda refused to acknowledge his presence. "Hey, Rhoda. How's it going with you?" It appears that she was lost in profound thought judging from the way she placed her hands below her jawline. Fed up with seeking Rhoda's attention, Lucas slammed the desk In frustration to awaken her lost soul. "Good day, sir," Rhoda hurriedly greeted Lucas and did the salutation to welcome him. Five minutes had gone past and Dexter was still chewing his nails, thinking of his decision. He feared making the worst decision that was most likely to ruin his life for good.
