Under the moonlight sneaking through the glass window, Meredith stood in the centre of the hallway with a terrified face. The girl stepped back slowly, her body trembling violently. Her mouth was slightly open, as if she wanted to scream... but no sound came out. Sister Helena felt a chill creeping over her skin. "Meredith?" her voice was low, but filled with worry. At the end of the hallway, a black, ragged creature stood still, watching Meredith. The creature was taller than an ordinary human, with a body as emaciated as a living skull. Its clothes were torn and dirty, as if they had rotted with time. But the most terrifying thing was its face. It had no eyes, just two deep, pitch-black empty holes.
