My name was Matthew Smith, and I was a salesman. Due to the pandemic, my company’s business has been rough. It was already a blessing that I was able to keep my job. However, I did not manage to get any sales commission. I was at my wits’ end. To put food on the table for my family, I went back to my old part-time job to be a masseur. I never went to college. After I graduated from high school, I went to a vocational school and learned some massage skills. However, I looked down on this skill. After I graduated, I got a sales job instead. If it was not for the fact that I couldn't make enough money, I would not have considered picking up this skill again. When I was looking for part-time masseur jobs, I found out that blind masseurs earned higher salaries. I had a sneaky idea. I bought a pair of sunglasses and pretended to be a blind person. Then, I went for an interview at a blind massage center. Since my skills were good, I managed to get the job successfully.

I did not resist anymore. For one, she offered a lot of money. Secondly, I did not really dislike her advances. She kept going at it for almost half an hour. My back almost snapped. After that, she smoked a cigarette and fell silent. I rubbed my back and wondered to myself. ‘Isn’t she married? Why is she acting so desperate as though she’s a widow who hasn’t been with anyone for years? Is her husband not up to the task?’ A lot of questions ran through my head. “Matthew! Matthew!” Just as I was lost in my own thoughts, the walkie-talkie next to my clothes beeped. I came back to my senses and grabbed the walkie-talkie. “What’s wrong, Mr. Jones?” Mr. Jones yelled frantically, “Get the VIP out through the secret tunnel! Someone’s coming up!” I panicked and broke into a cold sweat. Every room on the top floor had a secret tunnel for the clients to leave in case of emergencies. I did not hesitate. “Jack Thurman! Stop it!” Rosaline walked out with a dark face. She glanced across the room coldly. No one dared to meet her gaze as they all returned to their desks. I had the strange feeling that her eyes lingered on me for a moment. Shaking my head, I hurried back to my own desk as well. Rosaline dragged Jack back into the office and slammed the door shut. After a while, we could hear sounds of shouting and things smashing in the office. “Jack, what do you want me to do? You married me but left me unsatisfied for years. What do you want from me?” Rosaline ran out of her office with bruises on her face. “I’m going to kill you!” Jack looked fierce as he chased after Rosaline with a metal rod in his hand. I was shocked. If he hit her with that, she would be gravely injured. My face changed as I saw Rosaline run toward me.
