Lahat ng Kabanata ng A second chance mate for the rejected hybrid : Kabanata 101 - Kabanata 110

Chapter Hundred-OneFreedAsher"What's up, bro?" Ethan rasped as he strode into my room."I heard you've fixed a date for you and Alora's mating ceremony, so you're really doing this for real." He prodded as he narrowed his gaze at me.But I ignored his question as I kept my gaze fixed on the wall opposite me, then back to him. "Can you remember why we went in search of that Lycan Soothsayer a few weeks back?" I rasped as he rolled his eyes. "And why are you suddenly asking me that?" He mumbled, setting me a straight glare."Because my memory is blurry, and I don't seem to remember why, but I know you do," I stated simply."Well, we had gone in search of her because you wanted to find out how you can be freed from the pact you made with your mother.".I blinked, confused. "What pact?"."You really don't remember Asher?". He rasped as I narrowed my gaze at him."Would I be asking if I remembered?"."Well... after Alora sent those men to ambush me, everyone believed I was going to die

Chapter Hundred-ThreeA visit from the Moon goddess Elena."So you went through all that stress just to confirm if Asher was into me." I gasped as he nodded, the grim smile on his face never leaving."You're so smart, Elena." He smiled brightly as I narrowed my gaze at him."But seriously, Ethan, how do you feel? Are you okay? Does your head hurt any less?" I rasped as he shook his head."Gosh, Elena, you act like my grandma. And for your question, I'm perfectly fine; now go to Asher's room and see him.".I shook my head; anytime Asher and I were together, it always had the same twist: Asher kissing me like his life depended on me, then pushing me away like I had some kind of STDs. It always made me feel like I was being used, and I just wasn't ready for that horrible feeling that sat at the pit of my stomach at the same thought of being used."I'm not checking up on him, Ethan. If he's into me like you claim, then he should be the one to check up on me, and not the other way round".

Chapter Hundred-FiveAs long as we've got each otherElena."Who is she, and how did she get here?". Loud voices coming from downstairs echoed loudly in my ears as I quickly sprang to my feet, rushed to my bathroom, and washed my face before rushing down.I froze the moment I saw who it was, and it took me a second to register what was going on. Gina was here, live and direct, only that rather than a werewolf scent, she had that of a warlock; the happiness that bubbled up inside me was beyond explainable.I instantly rushed towards her, as I engulfed her in a hug."Do you know her?". Ethan growled, his hands entwined with a female I had never seen before, as his gaze narrowed at Gina. "Yes, she's my stepsister, and the only person from my previous cavern who was nice to me. Please let her stay with us; you don't need to worry about which room she would use. I promise to share mine with her.". I rasped as Alora burst out laughing."Does this look like some sort of charity organizat

Chapter Hundred-SevenImprisoned by the Demons Asher'You, Alora, and Kiara will get down from the car while I reverse and pack it in a safe spot, then come and join you guys by the boundary as we all take a fast leap into the kingdom to avoid getting caught.'. I instantly mindlinked with Ethan as he nodded, before shifting my gaze to the others."Get down, everyone.". I hissed as Alora let out a grumble."Why, aren't you driving inside?". She hissed, in her irritating voice, and it took everything in me not to throw up. "Must you always ask questions?" Alora, can't you just get down and stop acting like a bitch in heat? Ethan growled, as her face twisted in anger, and before she could form another sentence, I growled. "Get down, Alora.". In a blink, she quickly got down, as well as Kiara and Ethan.'We will be waiting here for you; hurry up with packing the car so we can get this over with.'. Ethan grumbled through our mindlink, as I nodded, putting the car key in the ignition

Chapter Hundred-Nine Plain rejection Gina Tears stung my eyes as I raced up the stairs, my heart broken into numerous pieces. Was I so ugly that he wouldn't even acknowledge me as his mate or at least say a word to me? I had thought repeatedly, as I wondered why life had to be so cruel to me.I had heard many stories of when people met their mate for the first time and how they felt that instant connection that was impossible to explain. Many get claimed by their mate, or at least kissed and acknowledged, or rejected as it may be. But never have I heard a story where the male was unwilling to even acknowledge or speak to the female. If he had rejected me formally and given me a reason, it would have been better and made the pain much lesser, but as it was, he wasn't even ready to formally reject me; he probably felt I was so worthless and didn't deserve to even be rejected. If he could treat me like this when I was hidden under the shadows of being a warlock, then I wondered how mu
