Lunette POV I sat up on the edge of Zarek’s bed, my feet dangling as I tried to gather myself.The weight on my chest seemed to lift as I watched Axel and Zarek absorb the truth. Saying it aloud had been terrifying, the most terrifying thing of my life, to lay out my flaws for others to see, but now that it was out there, I felt lighter, freer. Even so, my body was exhausted from keeping the secrets and praying that those two didn't fight again; that, and the dream, the power surge, and the overwhelming flood of emotions, had left me drained. Yet, even with their reassurances, I couldn’t shake those emotions gurgling up in me.
