Inside the hospital room, Justin and Zac walked in side by side. Helen barely acknowledged them. She glanced their way but didn’t say a word, rolling her eyes before turning her back on them. “Sis, have some warm soup—it’s good for your throat,” she said, making it painfully clear how much she didn’t welcome Justin’s presence.
