His mother rarely placed a distress call to him. In fact, she has never placed such a call to him, and she sounded really weak and frantic over the phone. Ciara had to wait for Johnway to round off for the night after what he gave her, and it stretched into the night. Johnway had suggested that Ciara go to his house and rest for a while, but Ciara refused. She did not want to risk leaving and not getting the full details, because even the file was not giving her all the answers she needed.
