Chapter 70Sienna’s Pov“Daphne, I’ve told you countless times, no running off like that,” I said, my tone firm as we drove back home. Daphne, however, was hardly paying attention, happily munching on her bread, the buttercream smeared around her mouth like a child’s version of a victory medal.“But Mommy, I just wanted to say hi to him,” she said between bites, clearly unfazed by my words. She licked a dollop of buttercream off her finger, not a care in the world.“Yes, and I’ve told you about talking to strangers,” I replied, glancing at her in the rearview mirror. “He may be on TV, but that doesn’t mean we know him.
