“Yes, that's it.” I replied, my face emotionless.“You can't be serious, are you?” She asked, her eyes widening like she couldn't believe her ears.“Why? You don't wanna go back home like you've always wanted?” I asked.She shook her head, “Yes… I mean, no… I'm just… uh… are you sure?” She asked, confused.“Do you wanna go back home?” I asked.“Sure… I mean, why not?”“Then you're free to go.” I said, standing from my seat, “I'd get Zero and a few warriors to drive you home.” Just as I was about to leave, she held my hand, forcing me to stop. “But I'm your mate, am I not?” I nodded, “Of course you are, and you'd never stop being mine.”“Then why are you letting me go?” She asked, looking up at me.I shrugged, “You've always wanted to go back home. I guess I finally realized there's no point keeping you here without your own free will.” I lied.Not getting to see her for the hours I was at war did something to my feelings, worst might not being able to see her for that long.
