Derek slowly opened his eyes. The scene before him felt eerily familiar, yet he couldn’t place where he was. Everything around him was white—the bed, the sheets, the pillows, the walls, even the clothes he wore. “Did I die?” he murmured, a wave of nausea washing over him.
