Cassandra’s POV Stella and I pulled up to the office building and parked in the underground parking. Since it was Sunday, there were tons of open parking spaces so we parked close to the elevator. Stella frantically pressed the button, and for a brief moment, I was seized with panic. Memories of being trapped in the elevator at Jordyn’s office flashed through my mind. The confined space, the feeling of suffocating, the intense squeezing in my chest. But I took a long, calming breath. It had been an accident, being trapped that day.
