The air in the bar was muddy with smoke. The smell of cigarettes and alcohol tainted the air as the deafening music roared through the dance floor. The dance floor was filled with men and women, swaying their bodies wildly to the beat of the music. Some women were even leaning on young men, exchanging endless sweet talk with each other. As Adeline reached the restaurant, she spotted Culver and Alan getting out of their cars and were heading in her direction.  "Wow, Adeline, the men you're getting acquainted with these days are certainly getting hotter and hotter..." She gasped in awe when she saw how good-looking both Culver and Alan were.  "Stop daydreaming! People that look like them are the most dangerous," Adeline whispered softly into Chloe's ear. Chloe stuck out her tongue at her after that.  "Miss Simpson, sorry for being late..." Culver apologized.  Alan was wearing a mask as usual, looking impassive. "I don't know what your food preferences are, so I picked this restaurant on a whim. The food here's really good, I promise both of you will love it," Adeline said with a faint smile. Culver eyed Alan and said with a smile, "Well then, I guess we'll find out if that's true soon enough." With that, Adeline led them into a private dining room in the restaurant. 

"Mr. Lester, I'll head back home first then. Thanks for 'rescuing' me just now!"
