Bryce stared at Angela from behind his desk. He could feel her tension from where he was sitting and could also see her fears evident in her. He stood up from behind his desk, went around his table and stood in front of it. Angela was now just an arm stretch away from him. She lowered her head wondering what Bryce would say to her. He reached for her head and pulled her into his arms making Angela collapse onto him. Angela rested her hands on his chest wondering what he was going to do. The next day, Angela woke up with a serious headache. She couldn't get out of bed. She dragged herself holding her head which was pounding like a drum set. She pushed the bathroom door open and entered. She closed the door louder than expected waking Bryce from his sleep. Bryce opened his eyes and realized Angela was not in bed. He turned on the bedside lamp on his side and retrieved his phone to check the time. It was 3. 30 a.m. He frowned and got out of bed. He walked towards the bathroom.
