CHAPTER 31

“When is Amelia coming back?” Celine asked in sign language. Alice smiled. “I don’t know. She was going to introduce to the people the new head officer. You know that Amelia and Marcos want to change things.” “I hope she would’ve made this change when my grandfather was alive.” Celine continued in sign language. “Yes, it’s really sad that your grandfather was no longer here to see that the help he gave to Marcos and Erika was worth it.” “Alice?” “Mmmm?” “Is she still looking for her father? I don’t understand how she could start thinking that it was her father who abandoned her.” “Yes, that’s what I constantly repeat to her, but she doesn’t want to hear me. This revenge is making her heart colder.” Alice replied in sign language. “There’s no way a parent can abandon their children.”And it was true: Amelia had sent a lot of people to look for her father, but no one had brought her any good news. So, it was easy for her to start thinking that her father abandoned her and ran awa

“Has she come back?” Celine asked when she saw Alice coming into her room. Alice denied. “Well, she indeed came back but she didn’t want to listen to me. I think she has other problems that need her attention.”Celine shook her head. She knew it was necessary for Amelia to listen to what Celine had to say. She knew what she saw. She knew that she had seen Thomas killing her father because, after so many years Celine had met Erika’s father by photo. That was when she understood that Valeria and Thomas had ended Erika’s father's life. But she couldn’t say it straightforwardly to Alice. There was a little chance that she could be wrong. And she really wanted to be wrong. Celine couldn’t imagine Amelia suffering more than she had done. When Alice noticed how sad Celine got, she went to her and hugged. Celine hugged her back. Behind Alice’s back, Celine looked at the photo in her hands where Erika and her father were smiling and cried on Alice’s shoulder. Maybe it wasn’t the right mom

CHAPTER 33

When Amelia reached the living room, she waited for one of the maids to notify Zein. And that happened seconds later. One of the maids said that Zein was in the garden, waiting for someone to talk, especially Amelia. She asked the maid if Zein was accompanied by someone, a little baby, but she said no, Zein had come alone. Amelia sighed. She really wanted to see her son. But she easily understood that it wasn’t her time yet to say who she really was. She needed to be patient. Amelia went to the garden and there she found him. Zein was walking back and forth impatiently.“Good to see you here, dear Mr. Valladolid.” Amelia greeted him. Zein turned around. Even though he was dying to talk to her, to take her out or just start paving his way to her heart, he also understood that this time the issue wasn’t with him but with Marcos Muriel. It was time to start figuring things out. “Hasn’t Gadriel come to visit me?” Amelia asked. She was dying to know where he was and when the next ti

CHAPTER 34

While Amelia was embracing her son and with that hug she told him that she was there, she was always going to be with him, Valeria smiled smoothly. Thomas looked at her. It was obvious that the ultimate boss lady in that town was thinking of doing something against Amelia. It was a boomer that her hell was going to start that day. Valeria wasn’t going to stop until she could reveal to the whole world who she was and what she pretended to do. She should’ve finished her off when she had the opportunity. She should’ve finished her off with her bare hands. Marcos looked at Valeria when he noticed the way Valeria was looking at them. Then, he looked at Zein. “Are you okay, little boy? Are you okay?” Amelia asked with tears in her eyes. Gadriel nodded. It was obvious that something was wrong with that boy. “Tell me, my love, are you okay?” Valeria got up and approached them. “Hello, Miss. Muriel. It’s a pleasure to have you here, in this terrible moment that the Valladolid family is g

Laughing out loud, all Valeria wanted to do at that moment was continue imagining how Charles had blown in pieces all over the air. It was exactly what fed her evil heart. She wanted Amelia and Marcos to suffer like no one has ever suffered before, and there was no better way than dragging their loved ones to hell. Now Alice was going to go against them. If it hadn’t been for Amelia and Marcos, she would’ve never lost the love of her life. “Come on, Thomas! Sit with me and let’s have a toast!” Valeria said. Thomas smiled and sat across from his lady as he called her. Valeria sighed happily. She was happier than anyone else in that town. There was no person’s happiness that could compete with hers. It was like Valeria’s dreams were coming true at that instant. Now she was getting closer to her true purpose. Now just a little steps more and she could show off having Amelia between her hands. And for that, she already had an incredible idea. The way she was going to finish with her w

Mrs. Muriel had been depressed, she always cried and screamed, she always said she wanted Charles back and Marcos and Amelia, there was nothing they could do because they had been the cause of the bad that now was surrounding that place. When Amelia arrived, the maids had really bad news for her. Alice was gone. She had decided to leave Marcos and Amelia to destroy the lives of others because Alice was never going to forgive them for what they’d done to her. Charles was all Alice had. They didn’t understand it, did they?“Miss. Amelia!” One of the maids called her out. Amelia looked at the woman. “Where’s Alice? How’s she doing?” She asked since when she left her, Alice was having an attack, she was putting

The truth was that if the only way Erika had to bring back her son’s health was by saying the truth, who she was, what she wanted and above all, if someone asked her to forgive Valeria in order to live the life she still had ahead with her son, with no doubt she would do it. As soon as her eyes saw Valeria, Zein and Patricia in the waiting room, something inside of her forced her to go against Valeria and Zein and also Patricia and force them to say what had happened.
