Back in the car, Paige kept fuming as they drove the short distance to the main gate of the Kentleys mansion. The tiny road they passed through was laced with bougainvillea on both sides, creating a faux fence, and a driveway wide enough to accommodate two cars going to different directions with adequate space in-between. The driveway glowed with tiny drops of sunlight from the creeping flowers, making a cool design on Paige's laps. "What's with the whole security protocol Nicon?" She asked in dire need of an explanation."I really can't say Miss Paige." Nicon started with his usual line of reply. I was.... ""Nicon please, you don't have to give me the clueless answers again. Not when I'm sure you know what I'm talking about." Paige almost pleaded. She was seriously hoping to hear something tangible, not the answers that always end with, I have no idea. "I really do not know Miss. Paige." Nicon replied, dampening her mood in the process. She sighed. Simon's men have proven to her

Simon made his way to the bathroom. If there is anything he needed so badly, it was a cold shower and maybe sleep if he could be lucky to get one. He stepped into the bathtub and the cold surface of the marble tub grazed his skin. This gave him a cold feeling and goosebumps. He switched on the tap, relaxed his head on the head rest and shut his eyes tightly enjoying the cold touch of water from the tap.He thought about Paige, wondered if she was back and what she might be up to. It's been three days away from her and it already feels like a whole year. He imagined how much trouble she must have given Franklin Tedson by now. He recalled how sharp and deadly her tongue was and how cute she was when she pretended to be angry. He missed her terribly. Her inquisitiveness and incessant questions. Her soft hands when she touches him, her face, the feel of her breath on his bare skin. He formed an oval curve with his palms and scooped some water from the bathtub splashing it on his face. T

"Around friends, yeah?" Paige asked with a knowing smile."Around friends." Anna smiled back. "So, you missed me huh?" She asked as they took a seat in the living room while Sherman was seen still shuffling around with their boxes. "But you weren't here all alone. We left you in great company. By the way, where is Simon? You were asking about him out there. Isn't he home?" She asked, pretending not to know of her brother's whereabouts."I kind of thought he was with you." Paige replied. "I got back yesterday and he was gone. He wasn't home." She told Anna."You went out, to where? Oh, you ba..d g.i.r.l. you made a new friend didn't you?" Anna asked with a lofty smile."I didn't." Paige replied."You didn't? Where did you go then?" She pestered."Uhmm, promise you won't judge." Paige said, pointing at her with a shy smile."What? Okay, I promise. Just spill." "I went to the Tedsons Anniversary dinner like I told you. But, I kind of spent the night there." She said with a raised eyebrow

The balcony was quite big and there was no demarcation to specify her space and Simon's.She stepped outside the door staring admiringly at the marble tiled sparkly floor. Simon had a mini table and seats placed towards his side of the balcony and the beautiful Gmelina tree spread some of its branches up there giving it an extra shade and beauty. It was extremely beautiful, like something she has never seen before. Her mouth dropped open as she admired the space. She moved over to Simon's side, taking a seat under the Gmelina shade. The fresh burst of air shook her body, making her smile beautifully. "So, this is what Simon has been urging her to take part in all this while." She thought to herself.*****Back at Galvile, Simon dropped his phone on his mini dining table where he was seated with his laptop and phone. He couldn't hold back his excitement. He had just concluded his therapy session with Chadwick when Paige's call came in.At first he was scared and worried. He thought so

Before now, Timothy had warned Barnabas that if he spoke up or exposed the plan, that the people they were carrying the whole plan out for would hunt him down and kill him. Hence his reason for being so scared to reveal their plan."It was Mr. Timothy Boss, he reached out to me with the suggestion and I agreed. Anastasia couldn't have it as we needed her help but she turned us down, and he threatened to kill her if she spoke up. A few days later, we couldn't locate her again. We looked around and even checked her home but there was no sign of her. One day, Mr Timothy came back and announced that Anastasia was ill and she asked that her daughter help out in the kitchen while she recovered. I asked him about Anastasia's whereabouts and even explained to him that we couldn't locate her before then. I suspected that he might have a hand in her disappearance, but he vowed and swore to me that he didn't. He attributed it to the fact that she might have run away out of fear. I accepted his ex
