Landon had obviously noticed Josh's entrance. He stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, one hand in his pocket, his gaze so intimidating that it made Josh take a step back. Landon didn't mind that, though. He lowered his gaze to the rosary bracelet on his wrist as he fiddled with it. As the lights in the conference room dimmed, his face came to be shrouded in a mass of light and shadows, which also obscured his true emotions.
