Sonia’s heart froze with fright when Greg turned around. Her mind jolted to the threat he made the last time she barged into his room like this. “Sonia, consider this your last warning. If you ever burst in on me like this again and catch me off guard, there’ll be consequences.” Sonia snapped out of it and took a step back in shock and dread.
