EVAN'S POV"My Master left the palace last night in the company of your mother and none has returned until now. They also didn't . . . say where they were going." The slave maid shivers under my cold gaze. She is repeating the same news we have heard from the few soldiers outside.It isn't what we were expecting. No one seems to know where their alpha disappeared to. His son, Miles, also happens to have left for Silver Moon even earlier and his father's beta is said to have left with him. In simple no one that can give us answers is available. An ordinary soldier who knows nothing has been left in charge of the Kingdom. I doubt it's a coincidence considering that my evil mother was the special guest that Alpha Jason spoke to before they both disappeared to an unknown place. TALIA'S POVI wonder if I should be out there with the soldiers searching for my mother and Taylor. I know Evan is doing his best to make Rose reveal everything to him, but what if his mother doesn't contact her again? It's good that we didn't choose to torture the answers out of her. If she had the slightest idea of where his mother is she would have already told him. She seems too eager to please him that I am certain she wouldn't be holding that information back.
