Alpha Kayden's POV“Who's there?.” I said calmly, my voice echoing through the darkness, there was no sound at all. I looked deep Into the woods with intensity to see if maybe I would spot something, or someone, but there was nothing. I sighed and turned around, the cool wind passed again and I felt the chill in my bones. “Maybe I'm going crazy.” I whispered under my breath, my voice barely above a whisper. I turned around and fixed my eyes on the mountains again. The thoughts of Amelia consumed me. I had imagined countless scenarios of Amelia returning to me, perhaps I was just overthinking, clinging to the hope that she was alive and still out there. Just then I heard the snap of another branch.
