Eliza’s POV I felt a chill run down my spine as I stood in my bedroom, staring at the solid oak door that now seemed a barrier between me and the rest of the world. My father's words echoed: "It's for your good." But what was his good? Why did he suddenly act like a crazy paranoid nutcase? I looked around the room, trying to distract myself from the unease growing inside me. The familiar objects that once comforted me now seemed dull and lifeless. The books on my shelf, the flower-patterned curtains, even the soft bed that had cradled me through nights - everything seemed to be suffocating me. I paced back and forth, my mind racing with questions. What had I done to deserve this? Was it because I had rejected those brothers? Had I somehow disrespected him in some way? I recalled our last conversation, trying to remember any words or actions that might have triggered this reaction. But nothing seemed to make sense. My father had been strict but never cruel in the short time

Eliza's POV Alpha Theron? I didn't know whether to smile or cry at the sight of him. He bowed and kissed my hand. I was in shock because I had not been expecting to see him. "Theron, what brings you here?" I finally opened my mouth and uttered some words. He glanced at my brother and back at me, a glint of happiness in his eyes. "Princess, I wanted to offer you my congratulations on rejecting the wretched Alpha brothers. I came late to the ball last night and stayed in the guest suite. I heard all about what had been happening and wanted to make sure that you were okay before I returned to my own pack. I took a deep breath, trying to process the sudden turn of events. "Thank you, Theron," I said, calm and composed. "I...I didn't expect to see you here." He smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I know. I apologize if I startled you. But, like I said, I wanted to ensure you were okay. I did not get a chance to see you at the ball." I felt a flush rise to my chee

Chapter Fifty Three

Rylan's POV I felt relief as the servant's words hung in the air. "You are all free to leave," he said, his tone neutral. "The King has decided to give you a second chance. It was your parents' mistake, not yours, after all." He turned on his heel and exited the room, leaving us to our devices. I was already on my feet, eager to get out of the cold room and back into the bright sunlight. "I'm out of here," Rio said, his voice dripping with disdain. "If our parents have done wrong, that's on them. We didn't ask for this." Enzo nodded in agreement, his eyes flashing with anger. "We didn't deserve to be punished for their mistakes." Edward, however, looked hesitant, his brow furrowed in concern. "But we cannot just leave them; they are our parents regardless." Rio and Enzo looked at Edward as if he were insane. They turned and left the door before another word could be said. Edward turned his focus to me. "What about you, Rylan? Are you going to walk away from o

Alpha Morgan's POV I sat on the cold, damp cell floor, feeling rather sorry since I had been thrown inside here like a criminal. The King was out of his mind. What was he planning to do with me? I had no idea, but the fact that I was chained and forced to eat bread and drink water made me feel sick; I thought about my boys and how they might be feeling right now. I was an alpha, their father, and a role model for my entire pack. How could that be taken away from me so quickly? My poor Luna would be beside herself with worry, no doubt. I could not believe this was happening to me. If my sons had kept their stupid mouths shut and accepted Daniella as their mate, then none of this would have happened, but Rylan just had to keep pushing. I thought back to when we first found Eliza in the woods and took her home. She was a tiny, helpless newborn. My Luna and I had decided not to declare it at first and thought nothing more of it; she was taken care of within our pack, and that

Alpha Morgan’s POV I glared at my Luna, my mind reeling with emotions. How could she do this to me? To our family? To our pack? The thought of Theron, my arch-nemesis, being the true father of my boy, Grayson, was unbearable. I had been there for him since the day that he was born. I thought my family was complete, and I was a father again. "Why?" I demanded, my voice low and menacing. "Why did you keep this from me? Why did you betray me like this?" My Luna's tears fell silently as she spoke, her voice barely above a whisper. "I didn't mean to hurt you, Morgan. I was young and stupid. I didn't know what I was getting myself into." I felt like I'd been punched in the gut again. "You didn't know what you were getting yourself into?" I repeated, my voice incredulous. "You knew exactly what you were doing. You chose to betray me, to deceive me, to destroy our family. You made an oath to be my chosen Luna. We agreed to keep that between us. Did you forget about that?” I growled.

Eliza's POV My brother shook his head and shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know what to think; let's go find Father and talk to him." He suggested, and I hesitated. What if he shoved me into my bedroom again and punished Alex for letting me out? Alex sensed my concerns and placed a hand on my shoulder. "It will be ok, little sister. I promise. I am here with you now, and I won't let anything or anyone hurt you. Father is just afraid that he will lose you again. He has been much happier since you came back into our lives. I know that better than anyone else around here." Alex reassured me, and I couldn't help but smile despite the worries that clouded my mind. As I stood there, my mind racing with the uncertainty of what lay ahead, I felt Alex's reassuring hand on my shoulder. His words were like a warm blanket wrapping around me, calming my fears and doubts. I looked up at him, my eyes searching for any sign of deception, but all I saw was genuine concern and kindness. Daniella’s POV “You are going to be my chosen mate. I will be alpha tomorrow, and you will be my Luna and produce me an heir,” he smirked confidently. “You will obey my every order, and you will be a good girl.” I stood before Grayson, my heart racing with fear and anger. I couldn't believe what he was saying. "You can't be serious," I spat out, trying to keep my voice steady. “I belong to your brothers, not you.” Grayson's smile grew wider, his eyes gleaming with triumph. "Oh, but I am very serious," he said, his voice dripping with arrogance. "You, Daniella, are going to be my mate. Not theirs. They never wanted you anyway. I know all about your failed trick to seduce them with magic.” I felt like I had been punched in the gut. "No," I said, shaking my head. "No way. I will never mate with you. You make me sick.” Grayson chuckled, his laughter sending a shiver down my spine. "Ah, but you will," he said, his voice dripping confidently. "You see, I've taken care of the others.

Grayson’s POV “What nonsense are you spouting?” I growled in disgust at the arch-enemy of my pack. I had grown up knowing that my parents hated him. He was horrible, greedy and selfish. Yet here he was, talking such rubbish. “You. You are my son. My child.” he did not take his eyes off me, and I felt like I'd been punched in the gut. Alpha Theron, my father? It couldn't be true. I'd always known that my mother had kept secrets from me, but this... this was a whole new level of betrayal. "Why?" I spat, my voice trembling with rage. "Why did you keep this from me? Why did you lie to me? What about my mother? Who is she?” Alpha Theron's expression was calm, but his eyes flashed with a hint of anger. "I didn't lie to you, Grayson. You're my son, and I'm proud of you. But you're not ready to know the truth. Your mother is your mother. You are still brothers to these quadruplets, but you have a different father, and that is me. Like I said, you are not ready for the truth ye

Eliza’s POV “Father? What is this all about?” I turned to my father and asked. What was he trying to gain from having me face Alpha Morgan and be told that Grayson wasn't his son? “Ask him who Grayson’s father is and why he doesn't believe in fated mates. Ask him why he didn't want his sons to have you as their Luna and mate.” I felt a surge of anger and betrayal as I listened to my father's words. How could he be so cruel and manipulative? Why was he forcing me to confront Alpha Morgan, of all people, about something so personal and painful? I took a deep breath and tried to calm down, focusing on the task at hand. I had to get to the bottom of this and find out what my father was hiding. "Alpha Morgan," I said, trying to steady my voice. "I've been told that you don't believe in fated mates. Can you explain why?" Alpha Morgan's expression turned cold and distant. "I believe in loyalty and power," he said. "Fated mates are just a myth, a way for the weak-willed to cl

Rylan’s POV I watched in disgust as Grayson was dragged away, kicking and screaming. He had turned into a lunatic. Daniella stood trembling with fear, and I felt sympathetic to her ordeal. My brother acted stupidly and let his greed get the better of him. He could never be a good leader with that attitude. “He said I was to mate with him.” Daniella shuddered at the thought as Rio attempted to comfort her. “Well, he's gone now, and he won't be a problem. Theron will deal with that arse of a loser.” Enzo growled, and I nodded my head in agreement. “I'm ashamed to call him our brother.” Ed sighed. “I'm sorry he put you through that, but he won't return.” I clenched my jaw, feeling mixed emotions: anger towards Grayson for putting Daniella through that, sympathy for her trauma, and relief that the situation was finally under control. I glanced around at my brothers, who looked at me with a similar sense of unease.“Rylan, what happens now? If alpha Morgan isn't coming back, then who
