ADRIAN'S POV I stared at the screen, I'd been waiting for over an hour already and there was still no response, even after I knew he already saw it. I sat in bed and ran my fingers through my hair. It was annoying the way he left me on read and refused to reply to me. I picked up my phone again and sent a message, "This is not fair, Austin. This is not right at all. Knight might be my friend but do I need to pay for what he did? At the same time, he's trying and they are even meeting up today. Why do we still need to continue this?" I sent the text to him while feeling down. I had no idea why Austin was taking it this far and it was slowly getting to me.
