Two days later, Donald was dressed for work. He was already dressed but needed to get his tie fixed properly. He stood in front of the mirror while doing so. While he looked in the mirror, his memory played the tape of Jennifer lying on his bed. He looked back. There was no one there. As a matter of fact, he was the only breathing soul in the entire room. That kind of made him miss Jennifer. When she was around, he didn't have to struggle with his tie in the morning before leaving for work. She would gladly walk up to him and have it fixed properly. Well, there was no one to do it. A couple of moments later, he stepped out of the staircase and into the living room. Lucy idled with her phone on one of the couches.
