OMG not again, “RYKER STOP! Ezra, do something, don’t just stand there!” I slammed my body into my brother’s side, knocking him off the guy he was hitting. “I said get off of him Ryker, you’re going to kill him.”The guy jumped up and started running as soon as Ryker fell to his side.“Great, there goes my date for tonight. I personally think this mark is nothing but a curse. I’m never going to even find out what this mark means if they never let me leave the pack. After dinner, I sat in my room and cried for what felt like forever. When I look back on that day, I can’t help but laugh. I should have relaxed and trusted the boys more.All three of them got into Moonlight just like we knew they would, but it’s OK. I’ve had several talks with them throughout the summer, and they agreed to give me my space. I guess they are growing up, they agreed not to rat me out to mom and dad for everything I do. I followed Creed’s eyes and tried to assess the situation. There are 6 guys that I can see. Three are standing by the driver’s side of his truck, and 3 are standing on the sidewalk in front of it. I scanned the parking lot again and noticed a few other people that were trying to act casual, but you can tell their nervous. I looked back up at Creed, “look I’m not sure what’s going on or what kind of trouble you’re in, but I’m just trying to get to college without any problems.”“He looked down at me and smiled, “and you will. We made it back to my car safely and headed out of town as fast as we could. Now that we’re back out on the open highway, it should be smooth sailing from here. It’s only been two days since I’ve seen Creed, and I’m not sure if our distance is helping or hurting my wolf. I felt so relaxed when I was in his arms, but now I just feel anxious and kind of depressed.
