It was midnight. Ocelotte and Molly had no intention of going back. They waited on the streets for the fireworks, watching as bursts of dazzling light bloomed one after another in the sky above them, illuminating their faces. Ocelotte’s face had never looked so radiant, as if he had returned to his youth. Molly’s face glowed the same way. Those filthy alleys, those painful memories; at this moment, it was as if they no longer existed. In her world, there was only Ocelotte. Molly felt such joy. She had never imagined that one day, she would have Ocelotte again, that she would step into his world. For a girl with her background, his world had always seemed so unattainable.
