In the dimly lit neighborhood, the streetlights bathed the street in a warm yellow glow. A white sedan rolled into the underground garage.Cedar had gotten his driver's license two years ago, but he hadn't spent much time behind the wheel since, so he was a bit out of practice. Thankfully, he managed to make it home safely, and he was now carefully backing into the parking space. Willow, who was feeling under the weather, was resting with her eyes closed in the passenger seat.Suddenly, there was a faint "thud". Cedar couldn't quite tell what he had hit, and the backup sensors started blaring. He hit the brakes hard, his voice quivering. "Willow, I think we might have hit someone."Glancing at the rearview mirror, Willow saw a figure sprawled on the ground. Her face went pale. Though she felt ill, she quickly got out of the car. It was evident they had hit someone.Behind the car, a middle-aged woman sat on the ground, her sunglasses hiding much of her face and masking her age.
