After a quick shower, I got dressed and noticed my usual skincare stuff all neatly arranged in the bathroom. I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. How did Marco know my routine so well? The fact that he had everything set up without even asking was kind of impressive, in a weird way. He was so thoughtful about the smallest details when it came to me.A wave of nostalgia hit me, and I found myself wondering how things might’ve turned out if my mother hadn’t caused so much chaos between our families. If only she had treated us more equally, maybe I’d even consider staying in this marriage. But I quickly pushed those "what ifs" aside, letting out a deep sigh. Thinking about the past wasn’t going to change anything.Once I was done getting ready, I stepped out of the bathroom to find Marco on the phone. His eyes scanned me from head to toe, and I shot him a glare. Was he trying to seduce me or something? He might’ve come close, but not nearly enough!I walked toward the bed, distracted by

That day, I made it a point to keep my distance from Marco. If he was at the beach, I'd find some excuse to leave. If he was inside, I'd go outside. As the sun started to set, casting golden light across the horizon, I decided to sneak in a peaceful swim. The clear water and soft sand were just too inviting. As I got ready to swim, I suddenly wondered if I had packed a swimsuit. It wasn’t even on my radar when I was packing—it wasn't my job!But lucky for me, I found a bright red two-piece tucked away among the clothes. I quickly changed in the bathroom, and I had to admit, whoever picked this out had great taste. The swimsuit fit perfectly, boosting my confidence. To avoid being fully exposed when I left the room, I threw on a light cover-up dress. I grabbed the essentials—sunglasses, a small bag—and headed out the door.I spotted Marco in the living room, glued to his laptop, and couldn’t help but grin. I didn’t want to disturb him, so I quietly slipped out and made my way to the bea

In front of Marco's mom, I couldn’t just write off her behavior as fake. She seemed genuinely concerned about me, like she really cared. But his dad? He was still a mystery—just like Marco.Out of nowhere, a wave of shame hit me. They knew who I was, and they knew the pain my mother caused their family. Yet here I was, totally clueless, acting like I fit right in with them. That familiar pain in my chest came back, and it felt like a weight pressing down on my heart again."Maddie, there’s nothing I can say to bring your mom back or erase the hurt she caused. I can't undo the damage, and I know my apologies won’t change things. But I need you to know this—I regret any pain I’ve caused you, but I won’t apologize for her death."Marco’s hand brushed against my arm, and I let out a soft gasp. It was a small touch, but it made my body react, sending warmth through me."Ahh..."I couldn’t help but let out a little sound when his fingers brushed against the side of my chest. Was he testing m

Marco kept thrusting inside me while facing the other way, and we both moaned passionately as I came hard—a powerful climax that took me by surprise. It was that so-called "passion propeller" or "helicopter" position I'd read about out of curiosity, never thinking we'd actually try it."You thought I wouldn't know, Maddie?" he asked, teasing himself while waiting for me to get into position.I got down on all fours just like he wanted. So, were we going for doggy style? While I was facing him, Marco reached around to touch my front and even grazed my butthole, which made me flinch. My head was resting on my hands as I waited, all on fours, for his next move."Were you checking out different sex positions?" he joked as he slid a finger into my butthole. I was so surprised that I immediately yelled, "M-Marco!""What a tight spot you got there. I think we’re going to need some lube and a condom for that," he remarked before leaving the bed and heading over to the side table. I started to

I smiled softly, appreciating Marco’s openness and honesty with me. The way he showed his emotions just for me made me feel like his feelings were real. But a little doubt crept in—why the sudden change in him?The silence hung for a moment before Marco spoke up, his voice steady.“Stop taking the pills. I want to give you a baby,” he said, his tone firm.I was caught off guard. Just recently, he had hesitated about the idea of having kids. What had caused this sudden shift? My mind raced, trying to figure it out.“Why the change? What made you want to have a baby all of a sudden?” I asked, genuinely curious.“Maddie, I’d rather start a family with you than risk losing you or growing apart,” he said, locking eyes with me. “Making sure you’re safe and our baby is well taken care of is my priority. I’ll make sure to be there for them, and I’m willing to take the risk as long as you’re by my side. If a family is what you want, I’ll go for it... and I promise I’ll tell you everything I kno

We stayed like that for a few moments, just holding each other quietly, our hearts beating in sync. Eventually, I pulled away and looked at Marco, curiosity bubbling up inside me."Marco, can you tell me the story of how we first met? How did you come to know me?" I asked, hoping he'd share a memory that I couldn’t remember.Marco hesitated, like he wasn’t sure if he should tell me. He’d been avoiding this story, wanting me to remember it on my own. But not being able to recall it, I begged, "I really want to know, Marco. I can't remember how we met." My fingers traced the line of his v-line, stopping at the tattoo that read '2-29.'I lightly touched the tattoo, hoping it held the key to unlocking some memories. "What’s '2-29' mean?" I asked, hoping it was some kind of clue about our past.He hesitated, and I thought he might be dodging the question. But to my surprise, he finally spoke up."2-29, February 29th, a leap day that only comes once every four years. Just like that date, mee

"Who are we waiting for, Marco?" I asked, curious. Even though we'd already sorted things out, Marco and I decided to stay on the island for a few more days to enjoy the peace before heading back to the busy city. With Saturday here and no work on the horizon, we talked about going back to New York tomorrow night. But earlier, Marco got a call that had him arranging four rooms in our island house. He wouldn’t say who the guests were, which just made me more intrigued."Here they are," Marco said calmly, glancing up at the sky. I followed his gaze and saw two helicopters flying in.A grin spread across my face as I eagerly waited to find out who was in those helicopters. Marco usually kept his emotions in check, but I loved when his expressive side came through, even if it was just for moments like these. It felt like a little secret between us.I was a little surprised when I saw Marco’s male cousins getting off the chopper, along with their girlfriends or wives. Emma, one of them, wav

"What if I don't?" I kept laughing, knowing full well Marco wouldn’t like that. He turned to face me, and my laughter died when I saw his serious look—it was like a storm was about to hit."If you don't, I'm gonna fuck you until you forget all about the annulment, until the only thing on your mind is me inside you—and I'll make sure you're sore. I'll fuck you so hard you'll be screaming and moaning my name when you cum that you won't even be able to walk tomorrow."At first, I was shocked by what he said, but then I flashed him a seductive smile.I leaned in close and whispered in his ear, "Go on, Marco. Fuck me all you want until I forget that I ever wanted to leave you." I reached out and grabbed his crotch, feeling his body tense up before I pulled away.I bit my lip playfully, winked at him, and laughed as I walked off, not able to hide my amusement at his groan.Spending time with Marco's cousins and their partners really lifted my spirits. I especially loved hanging out with the

I couldn’t help but keep my eyes on the woman holding onto Marco, though she eventually stepped back and came closer to me. He tried to hide it, but I caught him smiling. Unfortunately, I couldn’t bring myself to smile back. My attention stayed on her as she seemed to be sizing me up. Who was she? I wanted to ask, but I couldn’t just let my jealousy show like that.Marco touched my elbow, snapping me out of my thoughts. I turned to look at him, raising an eyebrow. "What brings you here, Maddie?" he asked, and I almost wanted to scold him for staying so calm, but my words came out with a hint of bitterness."Sir, Ma'am Maddie called earlier," Penelope, the secretary, chimed in. "I couldn’t tell you right away because you were busy talking to Architect Heleina."Heleina, huh? So that’s her name. An architect.I watched Marco in silence, my gaze locked on him. Heleina smiled at us as she approached, not seeming to realize the awkwardness she’d caused. But I could tell — she was definitely

After saying goodbye to Marco, our plans for dessert were cut short when Penelope called him about a 1:30 meeting. Not wanting to get in the way of his work, I quickly said my goodbyes and left.I needed a minute to refresh, so I headed to the restroom. Renzo had already gone to the parking lot to wait for me. Luckily, Marco's building felt pretty secure, even though I was alone.I wasn't paying much attention to the door opening, thinking it was just someone walking by. But then I heard a voice that made me pause while applying my lipstick."Madison Arellano, right?" It was the woman I’d seen earlier. Her voice sounded kind of familiar. I didn’t turn around right away, but I could see her in the mirror.I waited for her to speak again, sensing something a little off in her tone. She didn’t call me by my last name, so I had a feeling this wasn’t going to go well. She smiled, but it didn’t feel reassuring. "I need to talk to you about Marco. I’m actually worried about both of you."She
