Julian spent another sleepless night, tossing and turning. It wasn't the family pressure that troubled him, but Lily Parker's attitude. No matter what he did, she firmly refused him. What else could he do? The next morning, he woke up early. As he descended the stairs, he heard Mrs. Thompson's voice, "Oh, my little treasure, don't cry, you're breaking my heart..." Listening closely, he heard soft sobs. Entering the dining room, he found his little niece Olivia crying. Frowning, he picked her up and kissed her, then asked Mrs. Thompson, "What happened?"
