Luca woke up the next morning on the couch, he must have fallen asleep while waiting to get the call from the doctor. He never got to rest after his flight yesterday. That explains a lot. He got up and walked to his restroom to take a bath after which he got dressed and hurried downstairs to get to his car, he commanded his driver to take him to the hospital and went directly to the doctor’s office. “Doc? I didn’t get your call last night. I waited up but it never came and I fell asleep because I had a long flight and didn’t have time to rest.”Luca told the doctor who stood up to greet him. “We tried calling you last night but you didn’t take your call, the surgery went well but she is still not waking up, whatever happened to her was more than anything her body could take, we are hoping she would wake up in the next couple of days,”The doctor disclosed. Luca got busy for the rest of the week, he got a call from his Russia branch that something urgently needed his attention and he had to leave as soon as he arrived at the office. He called the doctor to tell him to make sure to keep him posted in case anything goes wrong and to be on a safer side, he had his men watch her twenty-hours a day without leaving her side. If his instance was correct which it always was, then that witch would want to show up around her when she was sure he wasn’t close. But she never showed her face and he spent the rest of the week in Russia. Everyday, he called to ask if she was awake but she remained asleep and he started to worry that she might take a long time to wake up like he had two years ago. He turned off her phone to avoid her getting any calls as he was sure he wasn’t ready to speak to anyone who might be looking for her. If she was awake, it would be a different case but she was yet to wake up so he had nothing to say to whoever would call her.

“Your vitals are okay and you are responding well to the treatments given so hopefully, you will heal faster than anticipated,”The doctor went on. Nora watched him jot something down, she knew she had to say something because once he leaves now, he would not be back until later and she would be stuck with the nurses who do not say anything to her and just go about their job. “How. I got permission from my doctor, I can sit out but not for long,”She responded to him. She couldn’t believe just how fast his presence made her forget all the problems she had which should be her top priority. “I am not a doctor, I am the one who brought you here to be treated,”He informed her. He ignored her protest and she soon gave up trying after realizing he wasn’t listening to her. He hoped she would remain the way she is and not give him issues, if she cooperates with him, she would be out of his hold sooner. After he helped her back to her room, he left her there and went to speak with the doctor, ever since he got the call that she was finally awake, this was the first time he would be speaking to the doctor directly as they only communicated on the phone as he had other businesses to take
