* B A C K  S T O R Y ****WHEN you are happy, everything will be fast and easy. It has been 2 years since they got married, but for Infinity and Elroy, it feels like just a few months.  Her husband was true to everything he promised. Infinity didn't feel lonely anymore. She now has a home to call her own, and someone she looks forward to coming home to every day.  Manang Carmen became her second mother too. She loves her more than Elroy now! CHAPTER 65*** THE next morning, Infinity tried to sleep, even just a wink. Her eyes were closed, but her mind was elsewhere, and it was at her husband's.  10 a.m. is the time visitors are allowed to enter the ICU room itself. She wore a protective PPE and mask. The moment she entered the room, her heartbeat was in sync with the sound of the monitor. This is the first time she saw her husband up close after the accident.  He has scars on his face and chest. Different types of IV fluids are also injected into him. His right eye was swollen last night and is now turning purple. With shaking hands wrapped with gloves, she held her husband's left hand. 

***SHOCK was an understatement when she heard him ask who she was. "E-Elroy, you really love joking around, huh!” She said. But his confused face did not change. She also looked at his eyes. They were dead eyes looking at her. As if he didn't really know her. "E-Elroy, you don't know me?" "N-No." He said straightforwardly. "Elroy, it’s I-Infinity. Your wife." She is holding her chest because her heart is about to burst, her heart is beating crazy right now. "What are you saying?" She could see that he was annoyed. "No…I don't have a wife yet." Now he was confused. Elroy’s disgruntled with what's happening right now. He woke up a month ago with broken bones, lying in bed with wires attached to his head and whole body. His parents told him that he had gone into an accident, and they flew him to the U.S. But all Elroy remembered was his basketball tournament with friends during the summer of his second year of college. He still vividly remembers the shocked faces of his parents.
