Zoe’s POV I jumped on Dillon as soon as we left the car, wrapping my arms and legs around him and attacking his mouth. He chuckled against my lips but responded enthusiastically, kissing me passionately. He carried me in the house, never breaking the kiss. We’d called this cabin Rachael had gifted to us “home” many times over the last few months, but it had never seemed permanent. Something was different as we entered this time, as if I could see our future unfolding here, because now I knew we had one to look forward to. And that thought made my need for the man in my arms even stronger. A new energy buzzed in the air around us, as if the burning embers of our bond had finally caught flame, burning brighter than ever.
